I own a small used bookstore in an old piano factory that I know is haunted. It’s a tiny store, only 300 square feet. It’s also the only bookstore in my area. Ever since this COVID-19 pandemic, I’ve had to shut down.
Recently, I’ve been able to do curbside delivery, but it’s not enough to help cover my rent and utilities. There’s a fear that I’m not able to recover from this. I’ve looked at the business loans and grants. I don’t qualify, sadly. So I keep moving; posting weekly deals on my Facebook page. Advertising curbside. Doing biweekly updates. I thought maybe I’d try here on Tumblr.
Please share, donate, reblog. I just don’t want to close my doors. I love what I do, picking books for a new reader, finding the right cozy mystery for a mom with some free time. Sending books to a customers friend for a surprise package.
It’s my calling.
