The bell bottoms! The contact lenses! The Green Paint! The film grain! The old style burn-in titles! The Joe Harnell theme music! I really enjoyed the whole season of “She-Hulk” but this BRILLIANT recreation of the title sequence from “The Incredible Hulk” tv series (a personal fave) was *chef’s kiss*!! Dark eyes looked over the starlet as he considered her suggestion. There was a lot to be gained from Madison Montgomery in his quest for world domination - when her movie wrapped up she would leave Michigan and return back to California where her usefulness would be out of his reach. Kai hadn't considered relocating anywhere but he assumed that one day he would have to spread his wings and look towards bigger and better things. He'd gotten the seat on the city council but there were still greater ambitions to strive for and he knew he couldn't become too content if he wanted that power that he deserved. Using fear to monopolize the sheep in a city the size Los Angeles would be a lot harder than it had been in Brookfield Heights - he would have to really up his game. If Kai Anderson was anything it was motivated. "I have not but now you've made me curious as to whether I should consider doing so. " A hand brushed over the pale knuckles of one of her small hands. He was not looking forward to the thought of her leaving and had been racking his mind trying to find ways to prevent it. "You've been so helpful to me here. I could just imagine how you could help me get my message heard in a city that pretty much bows to you. And with good reason." He could be quite the charmer when he wanted to be. Kai would not give up everything he had in his hometown because he wasn't a fool - he parents were kept there and they needed the family home more than anything as a coverup as well as a place to house their rotting remains. "I would be interested in going for a visit."

The restaurant was empty, minus the camera crew. 

Ivy had come to The Butchery early to open up. She was always the first one here, the first one flipping on the lights, getting the music going, cleaning the stations...Ivy took immense pride in The Butchery and she’d make sure make sure it was in perfect condition before the doors opened.

When she saw the morning news camera crew outside, however, she’d invited them in, offered them coffee. Ivy, accustomed to getting up at five am every morning, could sympathize. 

She came by with the coffee pot and stopped next to Serena. “Need me to top you off?”

“Don’t you remember the rules of horror films Jill? You might see them but the then the poor girl will have to die a tragic death by a serial killer that just can’t appreciate beautiful women that celebrate their sexuality.” Madison turned to her friend and smirked. “Maybe we shouldn’t have picked the Saw movies after all. Too much gore too little nudity and after the third one the plot stopped making sense. We could watch something from Friday the 13th franchise. These movies at least give us girls in bikinis….that die too soon. I should know. I had auditioned for one of them but I wasn’t as brain dead as they hoped I would be.” She moved her laptop closer to her and started looking for an alternative. “ Now let me ask you a question. If you could sleep with any movie serial killer, who would it be?”

“It doesn’t stop me from wanting to see them…” Jill threw a few pieces of popcorn at the screen. “This is bullshit. If I don’t get to see some tits tonight then I’m going to start bugging you to show me yours.” The Saw movies were pretty much a joke to her – there was nothing but gore with no real interesting storyline and she preferred the classic slasher flicks. These movies – not even the original – would never be worthy of being classics. “Yeah these suck but it certainly wasn’t my idea to watch them.” She pointed out. “Like it wasn’t my idea to watch the Paranormal activity movies last time we hung out.” She didn’t care that Madison was an actress – she wasn’t famous for anything she cared about - she pretty much just treated the girl like everyone else. “Friday the 13th is good. Only if we are watching the originals and not the remakes.” She was adamant about not watching shitty remakes. “You in a horror movie? That’s something I’d have to see. You look too prissy to be covered in blood.” Of course, she was just picking on her friend. “That’s a tough question because most of them are male and I’m really not a huge fan of dicks.” She had to think about it. “I’d say you if you were ever in an iconic slasher flick as the killer but since that didn’t happen does Angela from the Sleepaway Camp movies count? She was really hot as a girl? What about you? Who would you sleep with?”

Just finished watching #thedarkcrystalageofresistance and the ‘making of’ special... I feel so satisfied. I need a cigarette satisfied... it was in a word: perfect. The new girl complained way more than anyone she’d ever met. Brooke could understand why she was bitter - camp wasn’t a place anyone would enjoy being against their will. She hadn't wanted to come at first either but she was glad she'd given in. So far the brunette was loving her summer job. It was a special place where she could just be herself and have fun - it was kind of magical and sadly this girl and some of the other counselors were ruining it for her. Brooke still didn’t want to hear Chanel's never-ending bitching and that was why she avoided her as much as she could. That day it had been impossible to ignore her as they were assigned to the same group of kids to look after. “You know it’s not the worst place to be.” The words were harsh but they were true. She could be in jail or so many other equally awful places. It was the most Brooke had spoken to her to the spoiled girl and already she felt it was too much. “No one’s forcing you to be here.” She had a choice. Be there and honor her parole or bail and get locked up. "What exactly did you do that landed you here?" There were rumors circulating but she didn’t pay much attention to gossip. All she knew was that this was community service for Chanel.
