As an artist it's my job to feel and experience emotions past the comfort zone of many. Recently I've been wrestling with the anger of Self hatred and how acts of violence ultimately occur when we lose touch with ourselves as a whole. When we are too caught up in what we look like, rather than how we make people feel. This will be one of those pieces that never end. I feel so liberated after covering myself in jet black ink that will probably stay on my skin for weeks. Just here to say, I know the world is tough. And I know you want to be loved. And although loving yourself may seem like bad advice, it's the only advice. Altering, shaming or throwing hatred onto anyone will only and always cause more hate. Love thyself. Know thyself.
