Notes: I decided to draw Crowley as a Borzoi because I really love them, their need for speed perfectly balanced with their goofy expressions (and clumsy sleeping poses🤭), that's why I thought it would fit Crowley perfectly. On the other hand, Aziraphale is a Maltipoo, just because they're adorable and I fell in love with one of them during my last trip to Japan🥹✨ (Muffin I miss youuuu!!)

summary:

Aziraphale, the golden retriever, and Crowley, the black Labrador, are having a great day at the beach with their humans Maggie and Nina. But when a young poodle called Muriel shows up, Crowley's mood is dimmed.

Good thing Azi knows just how to cheer up a demon, er a grumpy Labrador, I mean.

Azi, the golden retriever, was gonna have an amazing day. He didn't know where they were going but his human Maggie kept saying ‘outside’ and ‘beach’ and he LOVED outside so beach couldn’t be so bad.

Right now she crouched down to him, "Do you wanna go to the beach, my little Angel? Do you? Huh? Well, we're gonna!" She ruffled the fur behind his ears and he barked, "Yes, Momma! Let's go to the beach, whatever that is!"

"Me too! Goodness, Azi, you're so excited!" She laughed as he kissed her cheek with a very wet tongue.

Ding-dong.

"Oh, that's Nina!" Maggie said, but Aziraphale was already at the door, almost slipping, when turning around the corner.

The door opened and immediately Azi jumped onto his second mother. "Ugh, Azi! Get off!"

Embarrassed, Azi backed up but still barked at Nina once just to make sure to show his affection.

Nina turned around and was about to yell for Crowley, but again Azi was faster. With a speed that surprised even himself he jumped into the big black Labrador. The next minute they roughhoused in the grass of Maggie’s front-yard, while Crowley barked at Azi, "Goodness, Angel! Will you get off of me?" and snapped at him. But Azi still invaded Crowley's personal space, because that black tail doesn't lie.

When their Mommas yelled, "Crowley!" and "Aziraphale!" at the same time they stood up straight and trotted back.

For a second Aziraphale thought Maggie’s lipstick was smudged but in the next life got more exciting - getting into the car and to that so called beach.

"Do you know what's the beach?" Azi asked Crowley while they were driving there.

"It's beautiful there, Angel. Just wait and see."

Aziraphale was a golden... he didn't like waiting but he would. In the meantime he bedded his head on his paws and watched Crowley doze.
