Greetings, fellow seekers of knowledge and empowerment. Today, I want to dive into a topic that has long fascinated me—demonology, specifically the Infernal Names. But here's the twist: let's explore these infernal entities not as supernatural beings, but as symbolic representations of our own human experiences, emotions, and states of mind.
The Infernal Names: A Different Perspective
In the realm of demonology, the Infernal Names are often associated with malevolent entities and dark forces. However, from an atheistic Satanist viewpoint, we can reinterpret these names as symbolic representations of aspects of our own consciousness and the human experience. The following is just a short list of examples.
Paimon: The Pursuit of Knowledge
Let's start with Paimon, often associated with the pursuit of science and the acquisition of knowledge. In this context, Paimon can symbolize our insatiable curiosity, our thirst for understanding, and our relentless quest for scientific exploration. Paimon becomes a metaphor for the relentless pursuit of knowledge that drives humanity forward.
Asmoday: The Art of Creation
Asmoday is traditionally linked to Arithmetic, Geometry, and Handicrafts. In our atheistic interpretation, Asmoday embodies our innate creativity and the human ability to create and construct. Whether it's solving mathematical problems, crafting intricate designs, or building remarkable structures, Asmoday represents the human drive to shape our world through art and craftsmanship.
Astaroth: Guardian of the Past, Present, and Future
Astaroth, traditionally associated with revealing secrets and knowledge about the past, present, and future. In our reinterpretation, Astaroth embodies mankind's insatiable curiosity about history, the liberal arts, and the unfolding tapestry of time. Astaroth becomes a symbol of our unrelenting desire to understand our origins, the world around us, and the mysteries of the ages.
Lucifer: The Light of Enlightenment
The name Lucifer has deep historical and religious connotations. In our reinterpretation, Lucifer represents the light of enlightenment, the intellectual and philosophical awakening that empowers us to question, think critically, and challenge dogma. It's a reminder that the pursuit of enlightenment and the rejection of intellectual darkness are fundamental aspects of the human experience.

Before the preformance of my recent compassion ritual, I took the time to ask for opinions and insight as to which infernal names and enochian keys to use in a said ritual, and weather or not it was safe and effective to preform without the proper ritualistic devices. I got swarmed by a handful of group members who don't grasp the concept of open discussion or sharing different interpretations of "The Satanic Bible" in a community manner.
I had asked a few simple questions which could have opened up an opportunity for the members to share their own experiences and findings. Instead, they became displeased that I dared to seek advice from outside of "The Satanic Bible." They completely missed the point of my post. They rudely told me to read the bible it and figure it out myself, however I knew that my questions weren't explicitly laid out within the text, otherwise there would be no point to ask.
I double checked the information within "The Satanic Bible." I was correct that the text doesn't actually designate any specific infernal names or Enochian Keys to the rituals, and that there are multiple avenues you can use in a ritual.
Out of the 19 Enochian Keys, there are several that stand by themselves and don't appear directly appropriate for any of the three Satanic Rituals within the pages of The Satanic Bible. In retrospect, most of the rituals have multiple keys which relate to the ritual, giving you options to choose from. The options vary in potency, circumstance, or add a different flavor to the ritual. Additionally, you may select any of the infernal names to use at your own digression. Having better knowledge about the deities and demons included in the list of infernal names than the information The Satanic Bible provides you with can help you make a more informed decision on which names to invoke.
The prospect of choice when selecting infernal names and an Enochian Key for your ritual opens up opportunities to explore and experiment with the different combinations. Different Satanists may have their own preferred combinations they like to use for their rituals. This leaves an opportunity for an open discussion into methods. I simply asked the questions in hopes that my fellow Satanists would share their experiences with me before I dove head first into an compassion ritual for my friend, Deception. I don't believe in magick, but I wanted to get it right for my friend just in case it was real.
After seeing that nobody was willing to share their insight, I decided to just preform the ritual with my limited supplies, and using my intuition to select infernal names and an Enochian Key.
When I was finished, I came back, the admin Seth, who does NOT deserve to share that name with Setekh, had said that my questions seeking out the opinions of fellow Satanists was moronic.
Then Seth got triggered after I said that the infernal names are technically classified as demons in other religions in response to someone saying that Satanism isn't about demons. Seth alleged that I was trying to act inferior to them because I pointed out out facts. He then stipulated that I have never read the Satanic Bible, and without any real authority to do so, ruled that I'm not a LaVey Satanist and therefore am unwelcome in his echo-chamber. He booted me before I had the chance to prove myself him with a picture of my very clearly read and adored Satanic Bible.
The experience left me feeling angry and confused. I started to think that there was a secret code hidden in "The Satanic Bible" that I'd yet to decipher. I took to the book in search of answers.
Instead of a secret code waiting for me, I flipped to a passage which could easily explain the levels of pretentiousness that I was met with. (I'll add the quote once I find it again) These people must have somehow felt intimidated by me. This may not be the truth behind their disrespectful attitudes, but at least it gave me a sense that I shouldn't feel ostracized for what I did. I realized that Seth is simply an egomaniac who thinks he's the expert on LaVeyen Satanic philosophy, that his own understanding of The Satanic Bible is the ultimate truth, and believes that all LaVey Satanists must conform to his very own conclusions of the infernal book. The other members of the group seemed to be just as elitist as Seth is in regards to Satanism. I realized that I didn't want to take part in the arrogance of their hoity group, and came to see my rejection from the group as a positive thing.
The Power Of Demonic Evocation And Sigil Magick
The 1st Writing Of Evoking The Demons Of Hell
Throughout history two of the most powerful elements in summoning any kind of Spirit has been by the force of spoken word and the inscribing of the Spirits Sigil or Seal. The complete system of Satanic Black Magick housed within EVOKING THE DEMONS OF HELL incorporates these two elements powerfully merging them with Hexes, Necromancy, Charms, the creation of Magickal beings, Protection Workings and many other Infernal Arts to create a plethora of Infernally Arcane practices for the Satanic Initiate to employ. Practices that are of a raw Demonic power and encourages the deep relationship with the Demons of Hell in ways that other systems fail to encompass. On an outer level the intention of this book is to provide the Satanic Initiate with an extensive set of Workings that can aid them in obtaining personal desires and objectives as well as helping them in carrying out Infernal Work which aids the Demons and their power in this World. On an inner level EVOKING THE DEMONS OF HELL intends to provide a path of Initiatory practices which will merge the Initiate deeper and deeper with the current of the Demons until they themselves are of that current. On a peripheral level I also see this book as a record of Satanic Practices as have been performed throughout many years by various kinds of Satanic Practitioners from the Diabolic Witch to the Classical Satanic Sorcerer. In short the writings of EVOKING THE DEMONS OF HELL holds information which will be of interest to Student, Initiate, advanced Sorcerer and Scholar alike, I hope that it may bring Infernal Power and Wisdom to each who peruse its manuscript. copyright(c)shanath 2019

THE POWER IN THE NAME OF THE DEMON
As mentioned in the previous Text 5 the Name of the Demon and its translation into Magickal Text is utilized in THE BLACK GRIMOIRE in place of Sigils, while many practitioners believe that the true power source of the Demon is its Sigil I and others who I have been tutored by and Worked with have found that the true source of power is in the actual Name of the Demon. Many books will warn against the speaking of a Demon’s Name aloud (at least books written by those of the Right Hand Path) for they know that the very uttering of the Name of a Demon resonates across the dimension and awakens its force and its attention toward you. The Catholic Priest when challenging Demons in conflict - particularly during Exorcisms - knows that he must obtain the Name of the the Possessing Demon to truly be sure of having a chance of banishing the Infernal Spirit. The current of the Demon’s Name flows with its energy, the more the Name is called the stronger the flow of that energy becomes. During Exorcisms the Priest also calls upon the Names of God and the Angels the battle then ensues between the forces in conflict, despite the fact that many fictional account depict the Catholic Exorcist being successful many have been killed and mentally broken during such Rites. To the Satanist the Demon’s Name is also of great power, ineffable power which can bring forth the Infernal Spirit’s energy current into this World to make manifest the objectives of the Initiate and of Satan Himself. The use of the Demon’s Name translated into a chosen Magickal Text is far more powerful that the use of the Sigil which often is hard to locate and even when located has dubious origin sources. The warnings written in the books of Right Hand Path practitioners and scholars are not without meaning, they are aware that even the whispering of their true Name can bring its influences into the personal sphere of the one who dares utter it. Within THE BLACK GRIMOIRE the power of Demonic Names and the power of the spoken word in general are of great importance, words carry the very essence of their meaning with them which is why the lyrics of a song or the verses of a well written poem can stir emotions of varying kinds to the surface of the human mind. The speech that rallies, the Poem that inspires, the declaration that rises hope, the condemnation which crushes hope . . . all are forged from the power which lies within spoken word. Consider this power and the fact that the Demonic Name is of even greater force and one will come to understand the importance of the use of Demon’s Names and the reverence in which they should be held. The calling or chanting of streams of Demonic Names to a specific purpose carries such immense power that they can be utilized alone to effect Infernally Magickal results. The banishing of unwanted Spirits for instance can be successfully carried out by the verbal calling of the Names of appropriate Demonic Entities uttered with force. Throughout the texts of THE BLACK GRIMOIRE the Readers shall discover more and more the importance of the power held within the Demonic Name and come to understand that it is as a verbal Talisman that can be called upon even outside the sacred sphere of the Ritual Sanctum.

The Devils Reign is a two month duration art exhibition along with an accompanying book curated by Magus Peter H. Gilmore, High Priest of the Church of Satan, and hosted by HOWL Gallery/Tattoo in Fort Myers, FL. The show is being produced by Andy Howl and the book is being co-published by Out of Step Books. The artists in this exhibit will be a carefully selected group of tattooers, painters, sculptors and illustrators from around the world. The exhibit will run from December 5th until the end of January 2016. We are looking for imagery of Satan, Lucifer, Baphomet, or any of the names listed in The Satanic Bible's roster of Infernal Names. Lovecraftian entities are also welcome. We are not looking for political statements or abstract art for this exhibit, rather we are seeking representational images and sculptures that fall into the realms of lowbrow, surrealist, graphic design, and illustrative work. Limited edition prints and photography-based images will be considered. Single images are preferred but tattoo flash (multiple designs on a single page) is also acceptable.
