Lowkenuinely my Lamb would absolutely agree with the Lamb spirits’ aims of utilizing Yngya for their Annihilation Agenda. While the Lamb will view Yngya as an idealized vision of The Mother Archetype, all things are a means to an end for them. The destruction of the world around them would be a dream come true for them lmao. Little Inferno (my sweet little horrible lamb, named by lamb-mine !) is as their name sake suggests, they are are a torrent of fire that is out of control, scorching everything near and/or dear to them in wake of an unshakeable grief and anger at a world that would allow the destruction of an entire species/culture. In the wells of their grief, they see all others as complicit, in their cowardice or active participation of the Hunt. They hold no love for the other inhabitants of the Lands of the Old Faith and very much align with the prospect of punishing society. Godhood had given them the power to lash out, punish, and destroy with no guardrails to reel them back. Not once does the idea of giving up power, or fleeing the wager of Gods, come to their mind. The Lamb is so thoroughly embittered they cannot see past their shame, the shame of Weakness, the shame of being thoroughly mangled by a cruel world and what it has turned them into, and their shame about being an “imitation” of Yngya’s Godhood. They are haunted by their internal struggles made external—visions of their clan’s Shepherd Ewe who appears to them in silence, untying the knots of Lamb Bells at their belt, the voices of the dead Sheep that turn into frantic chattering in the dark recesses of Darkwoods’ forest, visions of the Red Crown viper swallowing them whole and stoking paranoia of what is real and what is delusion. Ok it’s easier just to say they’re fucked up and very Mad. They tend to unravel in various different ways but are good at keeping appearances (with a thread of sanity as thin as sinew)
So when the dead sheep start to regret their actions and extoll the pain that informed their ritualistic suicide, little Inferno would just be like “oh ok so we’re gonna pussy out now. weak”. Though ultimately they realize they were hastily accelerating the plan without the foresight to consider how they themselves don’t want to die to the rot LMFAO
(Cringe oc talk) The lamb would happily inform Neves of the plan to use Yngya as a Nuke, like, look, fuck this world it doesn’t matter anyways because you’re a shepherd with a flock safe somewhere else right :) we just have to leave this land. while Neves just looks at them like this:
(Unfortunately Neves is also part of the Lamb’s roster of Mother Archetype / Saviors because the Lamb is always looking for someone to absolve them, to cleanse them, to purge them, to baptize them against the horrors of their own actions. (The Lamb begs the Shepherd Ewe apparition to undo the knots of their pain and provide to them peace) (The Lamb looks to Yngya to take the reins from them as the Primordial Sheep). Neves is going to die under the weight of the Lamb’s projections (but she takes power wherever she can find it. Wink) but it’s fine. What can you do when you’re alone in a horrible world where the sound of that sweet little Lamb inferno’s bleating and mews can lull you into complicity. Into enablement. Into abandoning yourself and your convictions
