Apparently, episodes 8a and 8b was a crossover with another show from Trigger called Inferno Cop.

I seriously thought the police officer was a random original character, which honestly makes it even funnier if you haven't seen it.

Also, the reason he moves like a static image is because that's how the original show was animated.

Ok so Inferno Cop ended in 2013.

Uncanny Avengers Annual #1 came out in 2014.

Now am I saying that Marvel took an idea from Inferno Cop? Yes, yes I am. Also I just found out what Inferno Cop is and it's peak fiction.
