That was until this sickness, that no ampule, nor high budget surgery could heal that Ivan was faced with the horrid truth of his mortality; to being another replaceable cog in the system. With his funds drying up, and the society, even his family quickly turning his back on him, Ivan, out of desperation joined the brigade in hopes to cure this disease that ails him.
