Infestation AU

Zora

Epithet: Insects. Can talk to and control bugs. Also makes her nearly immune to parasites.

Description: Zora wears a ripped up desaturated green shirt and light blue jorts. Has a weird type of bug in her eyes that acts as her pupils, it looks relatively normal until you notice the stray legs and slight wavering of the outline. The bugs act as a sort of seeing eye dog that transmits info to her. There’s hundreds of them in each eye. She can tell them to change shape at will. She thinks it’s really cool. Her hair has spiderwebs in between the strands and tiny spiders live in her hair. Her ears are blocked up by webbing as well.

Other: Has a tarantula friend called Thera. Thera sometimes hangs out in her lungs (for safekeeping). Thera also likes to perch on Zora’s head. Is home to so many parasites. They’re all her friends. Has a nest of hissing cockroaches. They bring her dead rats. She is proud of them. Has SO MANY aphids. Partly due to her massive colony of herder ants. Despises birds (They keep eating her friends). Very friendly, loves meeting new people. Befriended an extremely large colony of orb weaver spiders. They hang out with Thera.

Ramsey

Epithet: Famine. All plant life around him withers slowly. It doesn’t grow back until he completely leaves the area for more than a day. All people around him feel hungry. No matter how much they eat, they’ll never feel full. This also effects him.

Description: Ramsey wears a mostly intact light gray T-shirt and dark gray pants. He looks like he hasn’t eaten for weeks.

Other: His main passtime is to consume anything even slightly edible within reach. Humans are considered edible. Hangs out in the vents and drops down on unsuspecting people. Would get along well with Zora. Cryptid. Lives in old dilapidated buildings. Changes locations when he runs out of prey.

Percy

Epithet: Restore. She can dial back anything to its original state. Including things that are missing pieces or are gone entirely. All she needs is a base object and she can turn it back.

Description: Percy wears a standard looking uniform with a few small additions based on her epithet.

Redwood Run’s newest officer, newly transferred here because of the recent string of disappearances and sightings of suspicious activity in the woods. Cryptid hunting is not what she expected from becoming an officer.

In the Infestation AU, Konny's final moments are peaceful. Over the time he was eaten away, he was essentially asleep. He drempt of his family and friends, and was happily at peace until he returned in his new form.

Infestation!Clef helps Kondraki feel more human by talking to him about his feelings. That way he can focus on something more human.

initially? these two hated each other. pretty much the usual fare of kondraki not trusting clef and clef messing with kondraki because it amuses him. it rarely escalated to any kind of physical fight, though, because they both knew they’d get in trouble if they pulled anything like the events of duke til dawn or incident-239-b. still, they were taking jabs at each other whenever they possibly could.

clef won’t admit it to anyone but himself, but those weeks where kondraki disappeared into his office were absolutely miserable for him.
