Infinite Mana - A Glitchy, Open World RPG
Infinite Mana is a love letter to Japanese RPGs with an engrossing story, glitch mechanics, an open world, and Western RPG elements.
Hi everyone! A good friend of mine is launching his first Kickstarter for an indie open world RPG that he’s been working on for a very long time. He is super talented at game design and music!
“Infinite Mana is a retro-style, open world RPG with light sandbox features and glitch mechanics set in the immense magickal world of Arukea. It has a unique design that pays tribute to classic RPGs from the 8/16-bit eras through its style and subtle nods in gameplay, but with an emphasis on modern game design elements. The game is made to evoke a sense of wonder which is seemingly gone from many RPGs nowadays. Every step has something new to discover and is lovingly crafted to take you off guard, so expect the unexpected.”
He is implementing a lot of cool elements into the project that I think will help it stand out.
On top of that, I’m helping him out with some promotion art and possibly more artwork to come!
If any of you are interested in backing this project or want to check out the whole story for yourself, check it out here!
And of course, thank you for reading!! <3
