hello..! could i request a team for a chara kintype (from undertale)? mostly dark, fire, ghost or flowery/grass types would be great, and having a shaymin in there would be fantastic. my chara never was evil, and disliked being considered as such. they were also very loyal when it came to friendship, and a little mischievous, if that helps any. if you are okay with telling me your reasoning, i would greatly appreciate it. thank you so much, and have a lovely day, keep being a fantastic person! ♥

If you’ve played PMD:Explorers, you’ll know that being mistaken for a villian despite not being one is a thing with this Pokemon. Also, it’s whole line just looks like the mischievous type.

Litwick

Ghost/Fire-type

As a Pokemon that gains its energy by draining others, it’s a bit on the misunderstood side. Also it’s a cutie.

Misdreavus

Ghost-type

It’s name could very well come from the word “mischievous” among other origins. Scares people.

Purrloin

Dark-type

It’s basically just a cat that’s learned to use its cuteness to get away with things. That’s it. A cat. That happens to be Dark-type

Pyroar

Fire/Normal-type

It’s a Pokemon that’s part of a familial group. Loyalty comes with the territory. Usually associated with either loyal or prideful individuals.

oh! i apologize if that wasn’t specific! i should’ve mentioned for some reason the role is open to both genders in my age range in the production we’re doing, and i wanted to try to get that part. i’m not gender queer (though i am supportive of those who are don’t get me wrong), i sincerely apologize for any misconceptions or confusion!! now i feel silly oopsies :)

Oh no problem! I always just have NO idea what to sing for a genderbent audition.

something that would be GREAT is to sing something Jojo from Suessical sings since it’s a bit more gender neutral (SOO many women play this part for a young boy) so Alone in the Universe OR It’s Possible might have cuts that could work perfectly. 

Otherwise I’m not super sure. Can anyone help?

Hi, hope your having a great day! In May I’m auditioning for the role of Crutchie in Newsies, and I’m not sure what song would be good for my audition. It has to be 16 bars if that’s any help, and I can sing both alto and soprano. Any suggestions?

I’m sorry, is this an audition where you are a women going for a male role? or you’re gender-queer (encompassing trans, non-binary, agender, bigender, androgynous etc) going for a male role? It’s just very difficult to work against being a woman going into a male role because singing mens songs and you’re not seen as Crutchie (a men’s role) then you won’t be cast at all. But if you’re gender queer, it can make more sense because they’ll probably not know which gender to put you in for the show anyways I’m just unsure which gender’s songs to recommend here. In theatre, everything is so strict to the gender binary, it can be incredibly difficult.
