It's probably Finarfin's least significant name, and yes it was overwritten in favour of Ingoldo as his mother-name, but I rather like Ingalaurë (Inglor) as one of his names. Inga clearly demonstrates his Vanyarin heritage and specifically his ties to Ingwe, while the name itself is also subtle enough that if you didn't know who he was, he would just seem like a Vanya with especially golden hair. And "Top Gold" evokes the same idea of height/nobility that "Arafinwë" does.
I might have him use it as an epesse, or maybe a pseudonym. The problem of "Gildor Inglorion" would make sense if, say, Finarfin saves him during the War of Wrath while calling himself Inglor, and Gildor calls himself "Inglorion" to honour that.
