Hollywood still drives many people to Los Angeles in search of jobs in the film industry and looks at the phenomenon of the dream factory. With selected works, the exhibition looks back 100 years to the beginnings of Hollywood photography, with references to icons of film history, but also draws the span to the present day. We are very pleased to be able to assist in making George Hoyningen-Huene's iconic portraits of Katherine Hepburn, Gary Cooper, Marlene Dietrich, Charlie Chaplin and Ernst Lubitsch, among others, being part of this great exhibition. Photo by @amivitale. Wild horses linger next to the Danube where it meets the Black Sea in Romania. This was one of my favorite moments on our journey following the Danube in honor of legendary photographer Inge Morath for, "Danube Revisited: The Inge Morath Truck Project." The project was a photographic road trip along the Danube and a traveling exhibition of the work of the renowned Magnum photographer. The exhibition of her work from the Danube made its way back along the river, accompanied by eight female photographers to promote the power and potential of photography through nightly projections, artist talks, photo forums, and engaging in cultural exchange along the route. A core motivation for all of us was to support the underrepresented female voice in documentary photography. We created a project that is for women, by women, and in the legacy of a pioneering woman.
