Will does keep looking for Jay
They found a body when they found Will but... even after his funeral Will never gave up hope
He did all this research so he knew it was possible he could come back
But he would be a vampire
And Will wasn’t sure if that was worse than him being dead
He always searched for him and went to visit his grave every so often to check that it hadn’t been disturbed
But he still kinda had hope that he might come back :(
His early days as a werewolf were hard
He had a lot more energy than he used to and he felt like a brand new person
But the shock of suddenly having super sensitive ears and nose was hard
He picked up every little sound and smell and it drove him crazy
He was also kinda,,, uncomfy about the idea of hunting
But Connor helped him get over that
They were always respectful to the animals they killed because Ethan insisted upon it <3
Will held no ill will towards either wolf for turning him
He wasn’t too thrilled about being a supernatural being but he knew he would be dead if not for them
And they seemed like good guys <3 all three became close super quick
They were a pack after all and they would always protect each other
Even if Ethan had their shared braincell 96% of the time 😌✨
One thing Will had trouble adjusting to was the social hierarchy in the forest
Since they shared the land with the Faire Folk and Ava and a variety of other creatures there was an unspoken level of respect expected
But Will got kinda snappy when one of the Seelies told him to “watch it, mongrel” when he trampled a mushroom patch by accident
The Seelie was about to hex him a little but Noah showed up and was like “No, not gonna happen.”
And he let Will go with a warning
Another incident was when Ethan and Connor went to report to Ava about the vampire
Because she liked to know about any and all vamp sighting in the area
She has trust issues (which is valid of her)
I guess they forgot to ask Will how he felt about vampires :/
And failed to mention that they were going to see a very old, very no-nonsense vampire from an important Clan in South Africa
Dumb puppies Connor and Ethan strike again
So when Ava opened the door from across the hall and ushered them in without showing herself Will was fine
Until he caught her scent and his brain made the connection
And he lost it the second he saw Ava <3
She was appalled at the behaviour and got defensive because she’s not very trusting anymore
And she demanded that he calm down before she have to use force
Ethan had to grab the back of his shirt and be like, “William no.”
But eventually he was still seeing Ava as a threat so Connor had to go sit outside with him while Ava and Ethan talked :/
After a while he calmed down around her
He’s still kinda >:( because Vampires Bad but he recognizes that she isn’t violent unless provoked and his pack trusts her so she can’t be evil
