Just so I understand…

Felix, who never once apologizes for the awful things he says or even acknowledges his behavior gets forgiven

But Ingrid, who yes said something extremely awful to Dedue, has a moment where she acknowledges her wrong doings and goes to Dedue directly to apologize for her behavior is still a bad person?

I do not care who you like or dislike but I think we need to acknowledge this might have to do more so with gender than we want to acknowledge.

Ingrid is the only lord whose endings have her confront the fact that she fucking abandoned the people in her territory to join a teacher she knew for a little less than a year.

Her non AM endings are reframed as her having to win back the trust of her people after leaving them behind during the war.

why doesn’t al like the name ingrid?

she thinks it sounds like an old lady name. we were talking about my oc (named ingrid) who’s a little badass, so that’s where the “assassin grandma” thing came from.

I feel like there is alot of lost potential with the faerghus four because they all were really confronted with the darkness of Fodlan, but their route is the more conventionally heroic instead of the revolutionary one, so for all of it they only affect incremental change. Ingrid is probably the worst off in her home route because she either becomes a knight abandoning her home region or has to become a wife so that her husband fixes its problems, while in other routes she herself works towards ending Galateas poverty.

I mean but if character accuracy doesn't matter in fanworks you can't really complain about how BE fans portray Ingrid, for example. You kinda can't say anything at a certain point.
