Your neighbour's kid is pretty cool, not just because of their nature as an inky mass supported by machinery but because they genuinely entertain you.
Having babysat them for the past few weekends, you have gotten to know the little ink blot pretty well; it has no concept of gender or social norms, as whenever you have been out with the little creature, and someone has implied it was a little girl or a little boy, it has thrown up ink onto their feet. Once, you jokingly asked it if it had any brothers or sisters, and the blot in its little orb drooled on your carpet before telling you it wanted to change the colour of your walls to match its parents' ink hue.
The first time you agreed to watch over the little monster, you were confused as a glass orb with stubby, mechanical legs ambled into you, babbling through speakers about the floor in your home. The parent who dropped them off simply squinted their glowing eyes at you, in what you thought was the equivalent of a smile, before explaining that you really only needed to give the little one water and not much else, and they were right, but by whatever god that family believes in, this little ink blot sure can drink.
In reality, you agreed to babysit the little puddle not only because you were willing to help out and get paid, but also because you were fond of the creature's cousin, or well, the older relative who would sometimes come around to pick them up from you on the weekends. They were an interesting variation on the little ink monsters family, more hues like honey or golden slime than ink, and yet, the metal that holds their inky body tends to favour the more fuller-figured styles, surprisingly its usually mostly fuller-figured feminine styles.
As such, you don't mind the ink stains that the little bugger leaves behind so long as you get a few more chances to hit on their relative...
Warframe gave me a plus-sized ink robot lady, and I love her...
