Hi. This is your monthly reminder that if something isn't acceptable to say about a regular person on medication, it's not acceptable to say about characters on medication-adjacent things.

Yes this post is about Ink.

"His emotions aren't real because he gets them from his paints." Yeah hey I dare you to go up to someone medicated for depression or anxiety or any other condition and tell them that their happiness and peace aren't real because they need help getting there.

Did medication save your life? Does it help you function in day to day life because of a condition you have no control over? Well apparently none of that is real because you struggle to do it naturally.

People are so happy to say "remember to take your meds!" until a character actually does that, and has the audacity to be a flawed and traumatized person in the process.

Those emotions are real. The life someone is allowed to live because of medication is just as real and valid as that of someone who doesn't need it. Experiences aren't less valid because you needed help getting there.

Our first ink post for the year!

This time it's Ink and how he collects the paint for his vials! From what we found, Ink collects his paint from the creators he helps out by protecting their works(Aus) and tries to keep them motivated. The paint essentially represents the creative energy and emotions from AUs, which Ink gathers to fill his vials. Basically Ink fills his vials by harvesting the creative energy from the AUs he protects.

We headcannon that Ink tries to preserve as much paint as he can, because he doesn't get a lot of paint very often.
