Honestly Jana, messaging you that day was the best thing I could have done in my entire life.  My dude, I honestly don’t know where I would be if not for your support and kindness in these past months, but I definitely wouldn’t be as happy as I am today if I did not know you. I love everything we’ve written, and even though I’m slow, I’m excited to write even more with you!!!  You’re incredible, Jana  --  I mean that from the bottom of my gay heart, you see.  I LOVE YOU MY PAL...     JANA! Sometimes writers come along for me who literally define and change a character in my eyes. And for Uraraka, that’s you. She’s horribly under appreciated and underutilized in canon, and it’s criminal. And then you come along! And just! Breathe such spectacular life into her! Honestly, it’s such a delight, and my brain still has a hard time reminding itself that the thread we’ve done where Izuku and Ochako talk about Himiko coming to the raid is???? not canon???? THAT NEVER ACTUALLY HAPPENED???? WTF HORIKOSHI?!?!? But I digress. It’s not just Ochako that you absolutely slay with, it’s Recovery Girl, it’s MAO I LOVE MAO!? Holy frickin heck! There’s a reason that I can’t pedal my enthusiasm, can’t pump the breaks on word count when I write with you, and it’s that you’re just frickin magnificent. I have so much fun writing with you, and where oh where would we be without the soccer moms?! Fiasco still needs to happen, my love, but genuinely- you are such a tremendous person, such a delight to have in my life, and I love talking and writing with you. I hope that you can come back soon, that you’ll get some free time, and that nothing but good things happen for you. Sorey’s definitely noticed. The way Yasui was withdrawn from her classmates, how she was never around at lunch. It was kind of sad to see that while most of them got along and were so excited to start their term at this prestigious school, certain students definitely seemed to be left out of the excitement.

That won’t do. Sorey figured that in some ways, it was part of his job to bring the class and the school together. So at the end of the day, he approached Yasui’s desk with a friendly smile and wave.

“Hey Yasui! We’ve never had the chance to properly chat. How about you let me go treat you to some coffee? It’s kind of my job to get to know everyone at least a bit, for the yearbook you know?”

After a long morning of training and patrols, everyone at Gunhead’s agency inevitably worked up quite an appetite. Kenta knew this well, and made a habit of packing about twice as much lunch as he thought he could eat. Someone always ended up needing it, and helping people in need was what heroes were all about, right? So when he heard the team’s newest intern’s stomach start to rumble, he handed her a muffin without a second thought. 

“Here, there’s plenty to go around.”

❝ my ... lunch ... ❞  izuku still had his hand outstretched sadly towards his lunch tray that now lay flipped upside down on the floor. his food was splattered across the tiles, and despite the gruesome scene, izuku’s stomach rumbled at the delicious smell it still held. his bottom lip jutted out a little, disappointment in his gaze before he made a face at his outstretched hand. well, fist really. it held one of the cutlets of his katsudon, squeezed so tight it had split in half inside his palm. a couple of people were staring at him and izuku could feel his face heat up, hands instinctively going to cover his face from embarrassment before he stopped just in time to avoid an unfortunate force contact with the cutlet.  ❝ a-ahhhhhhh ... ggghh ... why’d i have to trip ... i should be more careful when walking, especially in the cafeteria, it’s so busy of course there’s bound to be bags on the floor ... ❞  he’d just been so caught up in talking with uraraka -- and trying not to get tongue tied after her bright smile -- that he hadn’t noticed.

That ‘something’ was a wonderful bouquet of COSMOS  –  its pink and white petals now reaching out to tickle her nose.  The universe in his hands, and he couldn’t be bothered to hold it properly.

“I don’t know shit about flowers.”  He admits.  “But she  –  the florist  –  she told me that these were tough as fucking bricks.  They won’t go down in heat and will keep growin’ no matter what the hell happens.”  That voice suddenly fell octaves in volume, “Made me think of you.”     ( re. )
