This is another poem that I wrote while working with Counter Speech Fellowship by YLAC. This poem tries to imagine the situation of a person with mental health issues. Hope you like it!
This piece talks of how the divine isn't a cold and perfect being, removed from all living things but rather the wonderful beauty and divinity which lives in all things slightly imperfect. Hope you enjoy it!!
I wrote this one during the worst periods of the pandemic. Although the resulting poem turned out to be very dark and despairing, I decided to keep it because I believe it perfectly expresses the gloom that had settled over all of us this year. Now that we're close to the end of 2021, I wish that we do not have to experience something like this again and that we're able to heal ourselves.
I wrote this one while working for the Counter speech fellowship by YLAC. I have tried to capture the struggle of the people with genders which fall outside the binary and the “choices” given to them. Hope you like it!
This is something I wrote when one of my cats ( Alex) died.
