[about Pattinson casting] *shrugs* Judging someone's ability based on their early 'jobs' is unfair in general, for a multitude of reasons. Also agree on the influence of script and director. If the movie looks good, I'll watch it. If not, pass. Simple as that. Also, isn't it actually A+ casting for Bruce Wayne when people look at him and go "Naw, that dude can't be Batman?" ;) [/silly] They ripped on Keaton back in the day, too. And some had doubts about Mark Hamill b/c Star Wars. Same story.

It’s entirely in the realm of possibility that Robert Pattinson will usurp George Clooney as The Worst Batman Ever, but that remains to be seen.

If the movie ends up looking horrendous then they’ll deserve the criticism they’ll inevitably get, but for me at this point getting upset at the casting is preemptive at best. Pattinson was very young when he began the Twilight series and has since explored more complex roles rather than stagnating in terrible teenage movie Hell, and for that reason I personally do not believe that he is deserving of scorn solely because he worked on a poorly-written series in his early twenties. Even critically-acclaimed actors spit out horrendous performances every now and then--it’s the reason the Golden Raspberry Awards exist.

It’s been amazing getting to know you and I hope our ‘fearful’ friendship continues well into the new year!

@spinejackel​ I’m so glad I met you, not only have you inspired my creative endeavors but you’ve helped me push myself and fight my mental illnesses. I love talking with you on discord too, it may not seem like much but listening you gush about animal crossing or pokemon, it’s just the distraction I need somedays. I enjoy learning about your passions--and then seeing what we have in common. :)

@inkstainsandbattythings​ Watching you improve over this year has been a delight, and seeing our friendship blossom as been even more amazing. You’re one of my favorite artists on this website and I wish you nothing but success in the new year!  I hope to continue to support you in the future with more commissions too~!

So I fell in love with @inkstainsandbattythings’s fanmade Batman character, Poetic Justice. And being the nerd I am, I decided that PJ would get along well with my Bookworm v.2, because PJ trash talks people via haikus and BW knows everything about everyone, so I’m kind of entertained by an idea of two literature-themed losers working together to piss everyone off (and steal books.)

So yeah. I hope that you like it! Sorry, I couldn’t help nerding out a little and drawing PJ with my fanmade daughter. ^.^“

Will you be doing more screencap photosets in the future? I really like the one you did for the BTAS Harley & Ivy episode :) The backgrounds and settings for BTAS are still so lovely-- I'd love to see more of them for different characters and episodes :)

Yes, absolutely! I really enjoy the little details in B:TAS/TNBA backgrounds--even simple items can bring a new dimension to scenes and be a fun nod to a character’s personality or their relationships with other characters. :D 

Like Harley Quinn’s Arkham Asylum cell, decorated with a framed photo of Joker and a Batman dartboard (not sure it’s a good idea to give Harley darts tho!):

The other day @inkstainsandbattythings brought this very interesting IMDb poll to my attention. Who’s the worst Batman villain to share a bunk bed with? Looks like we have a lot of options to choose from.

So,  I checked to see what the results were and

Scarecrow is in second place? I’m so proud of him~ Wait...why did Mr. Freeze get 87 votes? Surely Riddler would be much worse--

Who made the Scarecrow plushies?

The super huggable Scarecrow on the right was was crafted by my good friend @inkstainsandbattythings, and @kawaii-kreatures made the straw and burlap clad Scarecrow on the left! Both of these artists are absolutely amazing, I’m constantly marveling over their work. I highly recommend checking out their blogs and/or following them!

Isn't 'infused' just the fancy term for 'steeping,' aka boiling the straw in liquid and then adding that flavored liquid to the gelato base? Considering a lot of people chew on straw, it's probably not as weird as you think :d Would probably just taste like whatever cereal crop it was harvested from (wheat, rice, oats, etc).

Also-- I just searched 'Arkham Knight gelato' on twitter to see if anyone ate them back when they were released and one person said the straw flavor tasted weird XD

That’s what infused means? Well--I knew what the word meant, just not in the context of cooking. I don’t know why I didn’t just look that up. Now I feel silly, at least I learned something today! I bet it would be an interesting flavor none the less. At the very least, it would taste spooky. Haha ;)
