Inktober Masterpost! - Here is a compilation of all of the works I made for Inktober this year! This is the first time I’ve participated in Inktober and I’m honestly so proud of myself. You can find all the individual posts of these on my Tumblr page.
Week 1 - I tried to keep a consistent style, inking little witch character designs on small bits of multicoloured paper and scanning those in.
Week 2-3 - Experimented with more traditional watercolours, inking first and then applying colour. I tried scanning these at first but the colours came in washed out and oversaturated so I took pictures instead. I like the concept for most of these but the execution was poor and I definitely need more practice.
End week 3 - I started to put a lot more effort into creating finished designs, by transferring traditionally inked drawings to photoshop and then colouring those in. I tried to stick to a Halloween theme so witches are a component again, like in week 1. I was very proud of these designs, so they’re available on my Redbubble and Society6.
Week 4 - Started embroidery for the very first time and created two pieces I’m very proud of. Also transferred my sewing skills to creating plush cactus desk buddies! Finished off the week with another witchy girl who is also available in my store, and by reaching out to people affected by some of the current tensions in the US.

This compilation was made with the help of the Layout app on IOS, and it’s totally worth downloading.
