Inktober Day 8: Reckless

"I know it's you my lady!"

*The akumatized villain stopped attacking me as soon as she heard me say those words. We are now standing on top of a skyscraper, a good distance away from each other. Time seemed slower this time 'round.*

How could I not have know this sooner? Well, it does matter. Atleast now, I know that she, for a fact, is my Lady. And she is still in there somewhere. I just have to find a way to...

"You've been akumatized Ladybug, but the ring of the cat is not what you need right meow. Please, my lady, you need me to de-evilize you. Let me help you!"

My mouth must have a mind of its own.

"..."

No response. Is she going to attack me like she did earlier? Ok Adrien, stay alert. Be ready for her attacks...

*I glanced at any other potential akumatized object in her person. Much of her items have been destroyed by my cataclysms earlier*

That wand thing could be the akumatized item. A little tricky because that's her weapon. Regardless, I just have to destroy it with my cataclysm.

*I looked into her eyes to see if my ladybug is still in there.*

Her eyes looks so... defeated. Like there's no more shine like they used to have. Those damn akumas! Draining the lifeforce of their hosts. No... wait!

*While still looking into her eye, I have my instincts telling me that...*

It's still her in there. I know she is. I could still-

"Chaton... save me."

There! That's my Lady's voice! She finally spoke to me. What could have possibly happened here in this timeline that hurt my lady so? Why didn't Bunnix do any-... *inhales deeply* stay focused and let's save her first.

"It's alright my lady. Please, tell me. Did you know where the akuma went?"

*I started to walk slowly towards her.*

Maybe the item is hidden away somewhere. She's not walking away, which is-

"ADRIEN STOP!"

*I froze on the spot*

How...? How did she know about my secret identity?

*Ladybug bowed her head down while I'm still processing what she said. After what felt like a minute, she starts laughing out loud. An evil laugh.*

"Do you really want to help me... Adrien?"

*I'm frozen in place still. Those eyes are... not hers. I don't know what to do. That voice is still her, but something's different.*

*After a few seconds of laughing, she looked right at me with a smirk in her face. She's tossing her wand back and forth in her hands, taunting me, then stopped*

"Well then... Fetch."

*As soon as she said that, her wand was launched into the air upwards. By the looks of it, it will then fall down behind her into the streets below.*

*I snapped out of my frozen state and I ran as fast as I could, jumping off the building to follow the object. She didn't seemed to be interested in stopping me though–just observed me while wearing a smile on her face*

What's her game plan here? *sigh* Well, it doesn't matter. Whatever happened here my lady, whether I'm from the past, whether you know my secret identity, whether you hated me because of a fight, whether you've rejected me countless of times before, whether you don't love me the way I love you... one thing's for sure. We are partners. I've got your back as you have mine. No matter the situation may be, we'll always save each other from the fall. I'll do whatever it takes to de-evilized you, my lady. Whatever it takes...

First time posting a oneshot(?) fanfic, feeling nervous 🥲

Might not be the best story wise, but regardless, this is the context of my drawing meheheeh. Basically, this is reverse chat blanc au: Ladybug is akumatized (princess justice) and chat noir is relevant to the plot /jk. Also, unlimited cataclysm in this au and being akumatized slowly drains its host
