It was a bit windy today so I did not boil, fortunately. It's actually the first ever cosplay of mine and I've made it 3 days before the con cause yolo, that's why.

hey I know it's old news, but what did you use to paint on and then peel off your newt tattoos ?????
Hi hi! Don’t worry, it’s not old news! I actually love cosplaying Newt and plan on doing it again in the future!
For the tattoos, I used Silhouette’s Tattoo Paper and an inkjet printer! You can find them here at this link, though I will warn you, it uses a lot of ink.
I also used @so-i-did-this-thing‘s references/re-draws because they look awesome and practically spot on! You can find those in his dropbox here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/8oiwys7hbkzwq7h/AADr4HIguu2MYCTCOCzvkJNJa/Newt/to%20redo%20-%20these%20are%20off%20model?dl=0A few more tips:
SHAVE YOUR ARMS. I did not the first time. I was full of regret peeling them off.
The paper is not perfect, so you might end up with bubbles or smears, but honestly they’ll look fine as a whole!
His bracelets can cover up the seams/edge smears around the wrists too, so don’t worry too much if the ink runs.
Triple check that the designs are lined up fine. I printed them on plain paper a few times just to get the scale and correct rotation!
Hope that helps!
Work work work :3
So the end of May I'm going to a local CON and actually doing my first cosplays! I've been looking for a pair of boots that would go with my steam punk outfit and OMG I'm in love with these!
