I’ve been thinking about my summer in New York a lot recently, I guess I miss it quite a lot so I’m gonna make a list of things I did whilst I was out there:

Walked along the Brooklyn Bridge at night

Swam in a lake at sunset

Took the NYC subway and got hopelessly lost

Saw loads of fireflies at night when walking through the forest

Slept out under the stars and watched a lightning storm from a distance

Celebrated Independence Day for the first time ever

Went up to the Top of the Rock and saw the NYC skyline at night

Spent 4 hours wandering through Central Park

Ate deep fried oreos I bought from a street vendor, which were absolutely delicious

I ate lunch at Times Square (several times)

Taught film classes in the middle of a forest and saw all sorts of crazy wildlife I wouldn’t normally see at home

Took a spontaneous trip up to Canada, because we were right next to the border

Exploring downtown Manhattan at night and trying to sneak into the street parties

Going to Coney Island for the day

The Nitendo Store

Saw the Statue of Liberty

Meeting people from all over the world including Mexico, Paraguay, the Netherlands, Canada and France.
