These babies have been with me since the beginning. Like, middle to late elementary school. I used to have an expansive “rock collection” when I was a kid that I kept in a tin with a piece of white paper scotch tapes to the lid that said, “Andy’s Rock Collection.” I’m pretty sure I threw out most at the dawn of my teen years, not knowing how crystals would make a resurgence in my adult life. I used o take them out in college and hold them every now and then but never really understood why I was doing it.
