PREPRODUCTION #4 - A LESS-BAD STORYBOARD
Now drawn on paper and scanned, because I was getting frustrated by digital drawing (did I mention how much I like preproduction? I don’t...). These individual frames are then cut and used for the Animatic.

PREPRODUCTION #3 - ROUGH STORYBOARD
Getting the scenes and events locked down. I will not post entire storyboards / animatics here as to keep the story a minimum secret, for now.
As always, quality on par.
PREPRODUCTION #2 - STORY STRUCTURE
More sketches, showing the basic structure of the story.
Again, very high quality stuff.../s
PREPRODUCTION #1 - THE BASIC IDEA
For the weeks preceding the start of my Animation III class, I was struggling with finding an idea that motivated me. The summer was a difficult time for me, and a bit of depression left my “creative juices” pretty dry. That summer was also a time where I tought a lot about myself, who I am and how I live with others. Eventually, I realized the one thing I did want to talk about and was motivated about was talking about the problems I have with myself. And so came the idea on the “Inner enemy”, the me that screws me over. The me that I hate.
Here are a few preliminary sketches to get the idea across. This post and the next few ones will show you that sketches and preproduction in general is a general pain for me. Nothing hurts me more than struggling for 30 min trying to sketch a stick figure...
