hey!! so dumb question but.. at the end of 105/startof106 undertaker says "but the earl is still with us" (or something!) and ociel says "does he mean me or..." do you think he was talking abt his brother? ( ' c');; maybe he always feared the possibility of rc coming back?
Yeah! I think he’s talking about RC too. Not only because who else could he be talking about but also because this sentence mirrors a previous 2CT hint, in CH91-2 where the chapter basically ends in the exact same way:
It’s a real mystery though, this wasn’t the only time that OC has spoken as if he fears RC coming back... and that’s one hell of an assumption isn’t it?
It makes you wonder just what he did to RC’s body to make him worry something like this could happen. IMO since the reanimation of corpses is common-place in Kuroshitsuji I’d have to presume OC buried RC’s body as opposed to letting it burn up in the fire, perhaps it was somewhere on the grounds of where they were kidnapped.
RC’s body not being burnt in the fire also stands as a contrast to Vincent’s body which was burnt up, and in consequence could not be used by UT to create a Bizarre Doll - mentioned in the same chapter you brought up of course. :D
“Poor thing. He burned down to the marrow of his bones. With that manner of death, he could no longer... but, ahh-- "Earl Phantomhive" still lives after all [because his body was not burnt in the fire OC started]." -CH105
Regardless, it’s pretty obvious that since RC stands before us in CH129 we know that his body was not burnt haha. But the point remains, OC probably buried RC’s body somewhere (after he made the contract with Sebastian and before he burnt down the cultist’s hideout) and was potentially concerned that UT would have located it? Perhaps, but there’s likely another layer to this that I’m not seeing.
The thought of OC burying RC’s body is really upsetting though! He never got the respectful burial he deserved, and OC probably removed RC’s gravestone next to his parents to boot. No wonder he’s so angry and OC feels so guilty.
what are some headcannons you have for rc? ( ' v') if u have any u wanna share?
Oh man I have a lot! I spend too much time making AUs about the twins. Oh, and it's probably worth noting that I am not a believer of the "manipulative/evil RC" theories, I like to think it was in his blood but he didn't truly turn until after 'that day' (as OC didn't either).
As children, OC was good at literature whilst RC excelled more at science and mathematics (as inspired by this 2CT fic!)
RC can often be a little too excitable, but he's aware of it and sometimes regrets acting as he did; especially since OC is so much more "calm and mature" than him.
RC tries his best to look after OC (as he did in CH131) but more often than not is too pushy or doesn't properly think about what OC is comfortable with.
Sometimes RC is jealous of the attention OC receives from his parents and might act rashly in response, but afterwards he’ll feel guilty because he knows it isn’t OC’s fault.
Due to OC's sickness, RC sometimes feels like he has to act in place of both of them and doesn't always enjoy doing so.
Being the heir is exciting for RC but he's also pretty scared about it deep-down, he shares this indirectly by saying things to OC like “at least you don't have to worry about x!” in an attempt to make OC feel better. It probably doesn't make either of them feel better.
Why are these all so sad! Apparently I can only think of angsty headcanons. Wait, let’s lighten the mood:
On the day before their birthday, RC and OC get too excited and can’t sleep so they stay up late talking to each other lol (then pretend they're asleep when the servants peer in to check on them).
Phew... I can't wait to be completely wrong about RC's character.
innocentbeing replied to your post: Wait, it was still Our!Ciel that prepared dinner...
omg yes thank u!! i always found it hard to explain the “oCiel telling the story but truly not narrating” part ><!! u did it so well, im envious!
oh god! i spent ages on that part! don't be fooled, i found it really hard to explain too... i just uhhh how can you even put this concept into words. so confusing :'D

I get your point but real!Ciel didn’t kill Agni! There were two people there! One with the gun who shot Soma (most likely rCiel) and the other who stabbed and killed Agni! :0
That’s true, but I’ve seen a lot of “HE KILLED AGNI!!!!” as a reason why he’s awful and irredeemable, but you’re absolutely right--I think it’s a technicality, as I think he was behind it, but he didn’t actually kill Agni!

omg no!! i wouldn't vague blog about you! i'd never do it about someone on tumblr if they could see it :'D i’d feel like a bully if i did lol. i have nothing against your reply, i agree! <3
sorry it wasn’t clear aa, i was just responding to some people in youtube comments being annoying x.x
i've been wondering abt this for days pls help me lmao. ok so, is "The Willingness To Give Up One's Soul" the only requirement to summon a demon or is a sacrifice also *needed* for it to work? it's both right?? sebastian only mentioned the former in the manga tho.
we don’t really know! you’re spot on already with what you said, the only requirement we’re aware of is that a person must be at least willing to sacrifice their soul in order to summon a demon. however, i guess the question could be: did the fact OC wasn’t intending to summon a demon affect anything? would sebastian have noticed him w/o the initial sacrifice?
imo it wouldn’t seem right that simply being willing would automatically summon a demon, surely there would be billions of people in that kind of situation. therefore, my only guess is that the sacrifice aided in the process, attracting the demon’s attention to the person who was willing to make a deal. i don’t think it’s a necessary requirement but perhaps it helps! you’re either “lucky” enough to catch demon’s attention or resourceful enough call for one yourself - i guess?
it’s hard to tell. yana could do whatever she wants with this stuff so it’s really speculative… i hope we are told more about this. ; - ;
