Do you remember making forts as a kid? . Our forts were the best! They could fit up to 4 and we had weapons (a broomstick, lol. Which we used on our evil cousin) . Anyway, here's some concept art for Innocent Terrors! If you find the items, you can set forts around the house to help hide from the monsters out to get you. Problem is that your mom likes a clean house and will eventually take them down again 😂

Some small, but necessary stuff as I work my way through learning how to make a decent AI in Unreal . I was gonna go super simple at first, with a health and "innocence" bar. Any damage would look like cracks/corruption. But after playing around, I came up with a combination of the two. One side where your innocence is and the other the monster. . Oh and your inventory/quick slots are pockets!

1st version of Splintermouth's walk cycle. I'm thinking that his walk looks too... normal? Can you say that about a moving coat rack? 😞 But I think hes not scary enough yet . I was (still am) completely intimidated by the idea of having to animate something! And he has no legs! 😭

A vent system :D

The idea is that these will be less dangerous paths to take at night. You just have to befriend/bribe the denizens of the vents to unlock the best pathways

Also you can’t unlock the entrance of the vents without the screwdriver

Lol, I’m actually learning quite a bit, but I think I’ve only scratched the surface. It’s both fun and infuriating. Imagine if it were normal coding and not UE4 blueprints! Terrifying!!!

Got SplinterMouth into Unreal! Super happy since it took me forever to figure out. . Anyone else ever run into a problem. Spend hours trying to figure it out. Only to find the answer is something as simple as deleting the history in Maya?! 😤 I'm scared to think how long it'll take to make a decent AI for him. 😣
