Does your character have any noteworthy features? Freckles? Dimples? A scar somewhere unusual? etc.

he definitely has dimples; very prominent when he laughs, or when he purses his lips in any fashion. he has a clumping of gnarly crisscrossing slices on the insides of his wrists and on the insides of his elbows. he has a few moon-shaped ones in that patch of skin behind the lobe of the ear, behind both ears. his hands look like they’ve been mangled a few times, and some of his fingernails are broken too short, or gone completely. toenails, too.

Do they have any verbal tics? Do they have trouble pronouncing certain words or getting their thoughts across clearly?

new words feel very much like old cotton in a thirsty mouth when he reads something deeply profound, and tries to mimic it. he’s had a few verbal blunders which were wholly embarrassing, and he has refused to repeat the story of whence it happened. “Yea, verily” is a vocal tic; “thus” and “forsooth”, and “perhaps” and “perchance” fly out more times than I’d like.

Is your character an introvert or an extrovert? How do they handle big crowds of people?

i n t r o v e r t, surprisingly. he can babble until the rooster gets tired, but it’s an exhausting effort to be given the brief of standing in the open flame of interaction for so long. he is a simple folk with a need for solitude and his own thoughts. he flees when necessary, only speaking amiably by accident or when spotting a familiar face.

[text]:They were arguing about who would hit the piñata first so naturally you tore it open with your hands. You broke the piñata and their hearts.

[text]: They couldn’t make a decision. [text]: And I wanted to break it.

If the arrow sticking out of his shoulder was any indication, a healer would be needed in order for him to be “fine”. Bull had offered to carry him so the ride back to the Crossroads was less jarring, but he had declined, dignity and all that. Every step his hart took he felt through his shoulder, the arrow shaft snapped off about half way so it didn’t catch on anything.

“Of course I will, Nayeli. As if an arrow would ever do me in.” But he could feel his face becoming bloodless and he was very warm in his armor, despite the chill of the air.

Sharply pointed ears flicked at the sound of him getting into the water. Good. Several bottles in hand Nayeli was again at the side of basin kneeling and placing the bottles within reach. “The water is warm enough, I hope.” As she spoke Nayeli stood and very carefully begun to step into tub to join him. Caution has a slender hand held out for him to take. “So I do not step on you.”

“It’s fine. Come.” He spoke gentle and watched her as she removed his tunic. Definitely a sight to behold, even as her hand glowed green. He spread his legs when she approached and took her hand to help her into the tub, slowly, so that she wouldn’t step on him, as she feared. Once she was finally inside, he rested his arms on the sides of the tub, waiting for her to get comfortable.

Remy could not help the deep affectionate rumble of a chuckle as Noria embraced him and released. It was good to see her and seemingly more comfortable than he ever had, even back with the clan.

Relief came in a small wave as she reassured him. Only a tad though, he would not be fully alright until he saw his firstborn himself. A small sad smile was given because he can only imagine how difficult it must be for these girls to be away from the clan for so long and be among the shemlen for just as long.

“I have always known my girl was strong, Noria. Even knew she had the potential for more… It is not her strength I’m worried about. The Clan is fine and well. Sumir is as feistily adorable as ever and apparently starting his last growth spurt. Which is why I’m glad I came. That child…” He heaved a heavy sigh, sarcasm tingeing the edges of his smile.

She shook her head and rolled her eyes at the mention of their youngest whelp. She knew Sumir personally and knew that he could be a handful more often than he wasn’t. On one hand, she understood his behaviour, she was a teenager once too. On the other hand, that didn’t mean that she had to like it. “I hope he’s not giving you much grief. He’s at that sort of age.” Of course, she would know about that sort of “grief”. As did he. He didn’t raise two kids, but three.

“Do I have any messages?” Did Mother say anything? Omitted. Didn’t let it linger, regretted asking already. She shook her head and waved the question off. “Ah, you’ll have the time to tell me later. You should see your daughter instead of chatting with me. Last I saw her, she was in the library. We may find her there. Come.”

Most people would get in their houses when the first rumble would be heard, sailors would check the security of the ships, make sure there would be no flooding, mother would retreat the nets, but I would just sit there and listen. The drops falling in the sea always sounded like music to my ears. It was strange. It agitated me, but also gave me a strange sense of calm at the same time. It gave me... Focus. It allowed me to clear my head completely... It was, in a way, similar to my training.”
