"Stay... please."

The night draws late. The hour ( so brief as it was ) of twilight had all too quickly faded, dusk had all but melted away, and the moon rose to welcome its partial monarch. Where the twilight royal had not aimed to stay the night, whilst talking, she and the queen of light had simply drawn their time too far. Such was not a rarity —— there was much to discuss, after all, and the two more oft than not seemed to lose themselves amidst talk of kingdoms, allies, opponents, the conditions of either realms and what could be done to ensure the safety of both. Yet, as always, the queen possessed a sense of tiredness — such was not a rarity. After all, running the kingdom as she did, attending to business in such fashions as she, and managing affairs as she did, it was a wonder she had not lost to sleep’s embrace sooner.

Though, as she turns from the window, the taller cannot help but notice the distressed state in which Zelda has found slumber —— her brows furrow, and a nightmare seems to shake her shoulders, bolt her forward in a hasty awakening. Storm gray eyes meet the dusk sovereign’s, not their usual lightened azure, and briefly, panic knots her tongue — she’s about to ask what the issue is, but she KNOWS —— knows because she has night terrors such as these, knows how horrid waking from one can be. And she knows it’s not easy to wake alone, ( no matter how many times she herself has done so ). She goes to the queen, sits aside her when asked to stay in an almost hushed whisper. Unthinkingly, a lock of light brown hair is tucked behind pointed ear, and a gentle squeeze to chilled palm is given.

THE ULTIMATE BAE. Ok !! Blog things first because if I start with you I will yammer endlessly so. I love how you can bring all of your characters to life, no matter which muse you so choose to forgo. When you start a new blog, you can hit it hard and hit it off with a lot of people in such a short time; & it’s something I’m pretty envious of tbh, because I don’t think I could ever really have a successful muse while still running this blog. Because Midna outranks them every time, the meanie. 8′I ANYWAYS. I’ve always admired that about you, yes, & also !! Your theme-making abilities as well as your edits, your designs, the icons you make…they’re all so gorgeous I can’t deal ok. I said I’d yammer if I started with you in general yet here I am rambling about your blogs? OK THO for serious. I remember in August of last year when I first encountered your Link on a (very) happy mistake, and? I said I loved you already, lmao. Look how far we’ve come!! You’re so very sweet & willing to go out of your way to do things for me — you’ve made icons, gifs, edits, & themes for me, not to mention your presents in the mail always make me giddy as heck, omg. You’re absolutely beautiful; and not just in appearance — you’re the kind of beautiful that makes poetry sing, the kind of beautiful that allows me to think people are still good souls when the world’s got me down.
