I just think it's really funny, given that Shea is terrible at being the "Champion of Kirkwall." It's like he just backed away and let everyone else show up. I don't actually have developersconsole on because this is a brand new PC and I haven't actually played much yet.

And it's not necessarily in a trans context but it's like this person has never heard of actors passing as another gender, or you know the 'girl dresses up as a boy to join the army or similar' thing which happened and happens like Mary Read whose mother dressed her in 'boys clothes' and passed off as a boy and that Anne Bonney passed herself off as male to get into a pirate crew

They also used 'but the character gave birth in canon in a non magic/sci fi universe that could enable it' and 'well we saw them when they were born so we know' so you it means that character is cis end of story

One of the things Drew Karpyshyn established back in ME1 (and mentioned in his book) is that humanity was supposed to be majority mixed. So I think Kaid/Ash were designed that way initially.

Actually, Kaidan only states that his mother was in Singapore while being pregnant. His ancestry is never explicitely stated.

yeah that's my thinking too. but op's intentions were pure so i'm gonna take this as a learning opportunity.

it's really not ok to say that someone 'sounds' white or anything actually because no race has a singular sound because they're made up of so many different people from different cultures and upbringings
