As for what could be in S3 though I don’t think pregnancy will happen but there will be a 5-6 month time jump with probably 10 eps for S3. They could start S3 with pregnant Vic and have her give birth in the finale or in 3.09. That would work out I think. Have that episode be with her having complications and being unconscious or they have to put her under and she sees Lucas and they have conversations and in the end it’s all good and she gives birth and has one final dream with him and their baby and we get the ILY scene just reversed. He lies down in bed with her and their son. They say ILY and he is the one to tell her to stop talking because it’s late and she is all “I’m wide awake“ and he smiles and tells her to go to sleep.

Such a scene would probably kill me but damn I want it since I don’t think I’m getting anything else.

I think the most surprising storyline for this kind of show would be a rock-steady stable relationship. I'd love Vicley to be that steady reliable couple with minor relationship problems (ie. not secret wife/cheating/secret child) that they communicate through to the surprise of everyone else. Their drama this season has been perfect; realistic but meaningful with underlying stability that comes from knowing they love each other.

Dream casting for Michael

Inspired by this chapter of @inqwex‘s drabble challenge, I feel that it’s our fandom duty to dream cast Michael. 

Do we know any physical descriptors for him?  Anyone have thoughts about who could play Michael?  The flashback potential is epic.

I’m in a suburban Sydney blue ribbon Liberal seat full of Baby Boomers. I think it’s one of the safest conservative seats in the damn country. But I have at least one friend who might be willing to raise a little bit of hell with me (and maybe a few of her schoolmum friends).

Ugh this is so messy! I'm glad I came into the fanbase after all this was over. It's such a shame because Jonas/Corin are fantastic and could have contributed so much more to the show.

me too, now the stargate fandom is a much nicer place. Even though people still hate on Universe, oh well, we can’t have everything, can we?

and he was supposed to go to Atlantis. All they had to do was keep Jonas on SG1 for one more season. Then he would’ve jumped show. And having him in s7 would’ve made RDA’s absence less noticeable. Oh, so much wasted potential

The character break down of aO3 fic is interesting. Most common character to be tagged in a fic? Lucas Ripley.

Yeah. He was a really popular character. More popular than some of the regular characters. They should have used him more and not kill him.

I honestly think that Vic and Ripley and their relationship were the highlights of S2 and what made people tune in and get attached to the show and what made a S3 possible. They fucked it all up. I wouldn’t mind seeing a significant viewer loss when the show comes back in the fall. I want them to realize how badly they screwed up and maybe make a few changes but by the time the show comes back they will already have filmed like 6-7 episodes so I don’t know how that would work.

I’m just really annoyed and upset about this. I’m esp annoyed because I feel like the only reason they didn’t change their plans of killing him and why he had to die was to prop up Andy and Sullivan and so they wouldn’t have two superior/subordinate relationships on the show which is just so fucked up to me because they are not the same at all. The dynamics are so different.

I don’t have much hope for S3 in regards to Vic and I’m too annoyed with what happened last episode with the rest of the characters to currently care about them. I only care for Vic atm. Sadly all the things I would want for her will probably not happen and she will be paired up with a new character by the mid season finale or be ignored and become background again like she was in S1. They might think that she got plenty of screentime in S2 and ignore her and have everyone else front and center.

I would have liked a baby storyline for her so at least Vicley still remains a part of the show in some way and so they can’t just totally forget about Ripley and so we can see a pregnant firefighter storyline but I doubt they will go there. If anyone is pregnant it will be Maya which is going to explain her crying about Ripley all the time last episode.

So frustrating that this show that used to bring me so much joy and happiness now makes me miserable.

Brett said in an interview on the Shondaland site that the writers had planned this from the start of the season. So I don't think it had anything to do with him wanting to leave; he's filming now because he knew he'd be out of work on S19

yes, I just read the interview. honestly this just makes me madder that they planned his death from the beginning of season 2, because they could have changed his fate once they saw the audience’s response to Vicley and just the pure magic of this pairing. They made this decision beforehand and had the power to change it... but didn’t, which makes them the biggest idiots in the industry.
