The more I’ve heard, the more I’m like, well, at least Lucas will stay perfect forever. Everything after Lucas that Vic does/happens to her I know wouldn’t have happened if he’d lived because she’d be happily married to her Chief and they’d be disgustingly in love and making all the babies forever.

Finally had the time and the courage to watch the episode and omg the scenes were so sweet I cried my eyes out. Also I feel like I want to cancel this show with my bare hands. It's just not acceptable that they purposely chose to kill him, that they built his relationship with Vic (the most enjoyable storyline from this show) and with Sullivan and yet decided to kill him.I love Barrett and I do like the other actors but arghhhhhhh i'm so frustraded, it's like grey's anatomy all over again

I’m right there with you, anon. I don’t understand why they built up this incredibly love story with the intention of killing him off... it’s cruel and it’s heart breaking. They wanted to create an emotional impact on the audience with this death... they’ve clearly succeeded... but will also drive away the majority of their viewers. I understand what they were trying to achieve (trying to replicate Grey’s Anatomy), but this was not the way to do it because Station 19 does not have the same level of success and Vicley was the most popular and fan favourite storyline. The show was slowly getting there, but now...

I’m devastated and cannot understand what the writers were thinking...

I honestly don't know if I trust the writers to do justice by Vic after all of this. I love Barrett and she's an incredible actor but in two seasons, we still don't know anything about Vic's backstory. Miller got his family drama, Jack was an orphan, Maya was an Olympic competitor whose family favored her over her brother all the time, Travis had his husband die in a call, Sullivan left because he lost his wife and obviously we know a ton about Andy + Warren.

I know! It’s truly disappointing how they have neglected Vic’s backstory. This storyline with Ripley was amazing and very centric in season 2, which allowed Vic to finally be in the spotlight and showed a lot of character development in the process. I am worried that she will fall back into the background like last season now… Honestly, this was just a shitty and incredibly stupid thing to do… that made no sense for the future of the show or for Vic…
