jude was born in manchester, england to a pair of very wealthy parents who were decidedly not good at being parents. when they realized he was never going to live up to their expectations of grandeur and high society they just sort of....gave up on him, it turned to neglect, and with no other family or grandparents around, it resulted in jude having to do a lot of taking care of himself. in some ways that did teach him a sense of how to be self sufficient, but it also gave him a super warped sense of responsibility.
he resents them for it big time but (especially in the past five years or so) has started to learn how to compartmentalize that resentment and like?? learn from it rather than letting it make him bitter, if that makes sense, but he doesn’t talk to them anymore. he’s done a lot of growing up lately though. jude in his early twenties was running around doing drugs and substituting actual meaningful relationships with sex and otherwise filling the void with garbage and addictive tendencies.
it was in his mid-twenties that he decided kind of on a whim to pack up and move to the states, heading for the east coast and the big city. he found a tiny shoebox apartment in new york, got work at a bar and supplemented it with selling drugs. continued his bad habits of sleeping around, committing to nothing except drugs and sex and live music, and a few years later found himself nearing thirty with nothing at all to show for it and no sense of direction.
so that was when he started his tattoo apprenticeship. he worked under somebody who became something of a mentor to him (wanted connection!!) and helped him find a sense of responsibility and purpose that his parents were never able to do. by the time he finished the apprenticeship he had also managed to kick most of his drug habits with the exception of weed and a few party drugs here and there.
it was almost exactly a year ago now, around the new year, that jude decided he needed to get out of new york for a change of scenery and pace that he hoped would help with staying away from drugs. you could call it some kind of spiritual enlightenment but he would never call it that tyfegruhujwk. he calls it growing up and getting his shit together and realizing there’s more to life.
so he’s been here in LA for a year, works at a tattoo parlor, still smokes a lot of weed and parties semi frequently but has managed to figure out how to maintain a sense of priority and responsibility in his life.

Rory was born in Bristol, England, to Aurora and David Thomas. The couple was pretty young and very happy, but unfortunately, Aurora suffered a lot of blood loss during the birth and passed away. David was devastated, and to honor his late wife, changed their daughter’s intended name from Emma to Aurora. Rory for short.
It wasn’t very long until David met Demarcus Childs, an artist from America, that had been living abroad in England for a few years. He was hesitant to commit to anything, with Rory so young and the idea of being with a man so new to him, but he entered into a relationship with Demarcus nonetheless. They were married within a year and affectionately became Papa and Daddy to their young daughter.
Demarcus made good money with his art, often selling his work to private galleries, and David wrote for a local news station that also kept them pretty comfortable. They always had more than enough to get by, but you wouldn’t know that from talking to anyone in the family. They were all extremely humble, exemplified by how sheltered Rory was. Since they lived frugally, Rory never really went out and did... well, anything. She went to school and came back home, avoiding all social obligations and extra circulars. Demarcus, her dad, sometimes voiced his concerns about how withheld their daughter was, offering up the potential of maybe encouraging her to join a club or sport at school to get past her social anxiety. David, her papa, disagreed; he never wanted to push Rory’s comfort zone, out of fear of making her uncomfortable or putting her in a dangerous situation. Being so, Rory never really had much of a bond with anyone other than her fathers. She was riddled with nerves any time she did anything, but in the comfort of her own home, she was very happy.
When Rory was twenty-one, they moved from their home in Bristol out to Los Angeles, California. David had gotten an offer to write for a new medical drama show, and Demarcus was more than happy to relocate back home to be closer to his family. It was a big change for Rory, but she wouldn’t have dreamed of staying back. She couldn’t make it without her fathers.
For a while after moving, she never left the house. She’d attempt to grocery shop for the family when her fathers were at work, sometimes Uber to see her grandparents an hour or so away, but she didn’t like to. Going anywhere, especially without her parents, stressed her out so much. Finally, her papa started to see how badly she was affected by staying at home constantly. Her social anxiety started scaring him too. So he gently suggested she start coming to set with him every day to work as a script supervisor - or, basically, hold a script off-stage and give lines to actors whenever they need it. She doesn’t love it at all, especially not when it comes to correcting people on their lines, but working two feet away from her papa is more ideal than anything else. She’s putting up with it.
Though she’s been here for a year or so, Rory still has very little personal connections. She’s intimidated by meeting new people and avoids it at all costs usually, though working almost every day is helping to calm her down a little bit. She has a small number of people that she considers friends and is comfortable going out and about with, but she relies on them just as heavily as she does on her parents. A support system is absolutely crucial for her.

Sutton was born to a seemingly happy and comfortably middle class family in Seattle.
Her parents were together until she was seven, when they had a very big breakup due to her mother’s alcoholism and abusive behavior.
During the divorce her father didn’t even contest her mother’s pleas for full custody and so Sutton stayed with her mom.
Even though, her father was very partially in her life, Sutton always says that her father abandoned her and to an extent he did. The only time he was with her was during the holidays.
Living with her mother, Sutton had to grow up fast. Her mom never really took care of her. Her mom would blow through jobs, because she never kept up her sobriety long enough. Her schedule was basically work at whatever job she was holding at the moment and then go out with friends to party.
Because of that, Sutton learned how to take care of herself very well. Which is partially why she’s a good cook and all-around very independent
Her mother also had a variety of boyfriends always in the house. Some surprisingly pleasant but most were just as terrible as her mother.
One boyfriend in particular was the reason why Sutton eventually was taken out of her mother’s home.
When she was around 14, her mother’s boyfriend almost attacked her, while her mom was passed out, because of that she called CPS and was taken out of the house. Something that her mother still blames her for until this day.
After that, Sutton began to live with her father, who now had a new life with a new family in a rich suburb.
It was there that she started out a new school year and because she was always very intelligent and skipped up a grade in elementary school, she was a sophomore when she was approached with the opportunity to be on a reality show called Teen Queens and Wannabes.
At first, she almost objected, since the whole premise of them hiring her was because she was labeled a ‘nerd’, but the money was good and in a way she always wanted to be deemed as popular, so she took the offer.
And popular was exactly what she became. After the first season, she became a fan favorite and the show was a hit.
Because of the reality show, Sutton’s personality shifted slightly and she went from quiet wallflower to instigating diva. It was slightly because of the persona she created for herself on the show, when producers asked more from her, and slightly because she was always like that, but never let it out.
The show brought her all kinds of fame and deals. She now gets to go to events with celebrities, gets paid to advertise brands, and has even modeled as well as starred in a few music videos.
Fame never changed Sutton’s goals, which was to go to Stanford University and while she may seem vapid upon first meeting her, Sutton is very sharp. She was accepted into Stanford on a partial scholarship, where she studied business and upon graduating she began to start up a cosmetic and hair care line. All the while, she was building up her presence on social media and after she graduated she headed straight for LA.
Sutton’s personality is a little abrasive. She demands and wants the best. Absolute spoiled brat, but she’s also very caring. When she loves and cares for someone she takes care of them, no matter what. Which is also why no matter how much abuse she suffers from her mother, she continues to let her into her life and try to take care of her, by sending her to rehab.
And just for fun to mention, Sutton’s whole arch on the reality show is that she was the ‘nerdy’ girl trying to mix in with the popular crowd. She ended up catching the attention of the popular jock, who just happened to be the queen bee’s brother. They ended up dating, but their relationship was constantly challenged because she was always fighting with his sister for popularity and he cheated on her constantly. Also, Sutton was known to begin fights between people in order to get her way.

Anastasiya was what you considered to be a trust fund child. Her parents had a huge company in Bulgaria, coming to Los Angeles to build another company when Ana was eight.
Being the one kid in school that didn't know English, Ana felt a little alone, keeping to herself usually.
As soon as puberty hit though, Ana was suddenly the girl all the guys wanted. Which led her to becoming more promiscuous and not much of a care in the world.
At fifteen, she found out she was pregnant and stuck when the father of the baby didn't want involved. She tried to hide it for as long as she could, but once her parents found out, they kicked her out.
Thankful for a friend's mom, she was able to move in with them and gave birth to her daughter, Anelia.
It was hard, but Ana was able to graduate high school while working a job to keep her and her daughter afloat. As soon as she was eighteen, she got her own apartment and held two jobs, realizing that she should try to go to college to get an education.
The one thing her parents didn't cut off was the trust fund, which helped Anastasiya to go to college and get a better apartment in a safer part of the neighborhood.
Graduating with her nursing degree at twenty four, Ana got a job at a hospital as a NICU nurse while raising her, then, nine year old daughter.
Now, she has been able to buy a home for her and Anelia, the child now eleven years old. They own a dog and live life comfortably. Ana is the parent that is strict, but is also her daughter's friend, them being closer in age than most parents are.

Anastasiya is very maternal because of her being a mom and a nurse. She cares about people more than she should and wants the best for them.

Prudence is a special person. She was an 8th generation witch, the start of her line hanging after being found out that she was a witch. However, the line stayed true to the beliefs from the child that survived.
Prue was born to a single mother, her mom doing everything she could to keep them afloat, making sure that her daughter had the best life she could give. While her mom was home, she taught Prue the uses of crystals, spells, candles and oils to keep the special line alive.
When she was 7, her mother married a man who also had a daughter, Prue being excited to have a sister. It was hard however for her stepdad and stepsister to understand her and her mom’s beliefs, them accepting it, but believing their own thing. It was a healthy blend, but Prudence was more dedicated to being a witch more than being a Christian.
Growing up, Prue was a free spirit who did her own thing, not caring what people thought of her. She knew that being herself was what was more important and not conforming to the world around her.
One thing she loved doing was baking. She would bake for family and friends, dreaming of having a bakery of her own.

Athena was born to two drug addicts that gave the child up for adoption as soon as she was born, leading her to be adopted by two doctors that were unable to have children.
From a young age, she showed signs of intelligence, learning to read and be able to do basic math at the age of four. When her parents signed her up for kindergarten, she was able to skip to second grade, becoming one of the smarter kids in her new class.
Easily, Athena graduated high school at the age of sixteen and went to UPenn to study Public Relations and Journalism. She graduated when she was twenty and moved to LA to get a job with the NHL to be in PR.
Always being curious about her biological family, Athena decided to look up her parents, finding out that they both overdosed not long after they gave the child up for adoption. It was something that hurt the woman, knowing that she would never be able to meet them.
As book smart as she is, she was never good with relationships. Once she moved to LA when she was twenty, she met a guy named Finn, who ended up being extremely abusive. After two years with him, Athena was able to escape and she was able to find her own place.
After finally settling into an apartment, Athena thought she was safe again until a few months ago in March of 2019. After hiding from Finn for three and a half years, he showed up at her door out of nowhere and shot her in the shoulder. Since then, she has been on the path to being fully healed as well as finding a new apartment with extreme paths of security while her ex is spending the rest of his life in jail.
Personality
Athena is highly intelligent, not really knowing how to tame it down. People tend to consider her a know it all, but she never tries to do it on purpose. (Consider her more of an Amy Santiago type intelligence)

i am SO EXCITED to be able to play my baby boy again! so i’m kirby and this is my angel, al! his intro is unnecessarily long, i warn you, but all in all, he’s a good, chaotic boy that needs pals. you’ll love him i promise!
it’s pronounced alo-wish-us, and his mother, carmen hale, is to blame for it. she and her boyfriend at the time, luke shea, got pregnant when they were both in their early twenties. they remained together for the first few years of al’s life, but ultimately split up when he was three. they kept in close contact for al’s sake.
al definitely grew up more like his mother. his dad moved to san francisco and coached baseball at a high school there, and fulfilled every stereotype that came with the gig. his mother, though, was a pianist, and taught al how to play at a very young age. he was playing piano before he was even out of kindergarten and oh boy, did he love to brag about it. any time there was a piano anywhere near him, he hopped on to play a tune so everyone in the vicinity knew what a child prodigy he was.
that fascination with the piano led an interest in other music. he learned to play guitar and drums throughout his time in school and was in choir every year, from kindergarten to graduation. he was deeply in love with music his entire life and even went into a music education program in college.
college was fun, though al wasn’t terribly fond of no longer feeling like the most talented one in the room. he and his roommate, jax moretti, clicked wonderfully, primarily over their shared taste and love of music. they often both pulled out their guitars and played together when they had some free time, dorm room door open to invite in anyone that wanted to come appreciate their music. eventually they attracted two other musicians - a drummer and a bassist, and they had the idea to play all together.
all your wishes was born and lived in small, open mic night venues for their first year together. it was all fun, and none of the four thought they’d ever make a serious career out of it. they were discovered by a talent scout though and signed to a five album contract strange music inc by the end of 2007.
their first album took off on a bigger scale than any of the four could have imagined, but they were all deliriously happy. it was a life none of them ever dared to want for themselves. they were on the road before any of them knew it, engrossed and loving tour life. their following albums were just as successful, and their label was lenient enough with them to give them the freedom to explore different sounds and genres. all your wishes prided themselves on not fitting into any one specific genre too well so they had something for just about everyone to enjoy.
even while al was living his dream, it was hard on him. he was very young when all the attention was thrust upon them and he had a hard time handling it. the pressure to remain relevant and interesting weighed him down hard. so al turned to alcohol to keep himself distracted. it never got to the stage where it was a full blown addiction; he always made a conscious decision to do it. he rarely did anything in the public eye without getting a bit buzzed first. it became ninety percent of his personality because he’d convinced himself he wasn’t worth the attention he got without it. he was able to clean himself up before it got to be too much of an issue, but he’s very ashamed of it and very private about it. only a handful of people know about how bad he got.
the contract came to an end at the end of 2015, and though the band had been their entire lives for eight years, the members were all somewhat happy it was over. they all loved one another and their music all the same, but their time as a band had run it’s course.
al considered making music under his own name following the split, and he still writes and features on other artist’s work, but he ultimately decided he was done with that part of his life - at least for the time being. instead, he put all his focus on starting his own record label, genie records, which has been running successfully since september of 2016.
TL;DR: al is a bit of a brat that was the frontman of a very successful punk pop band from 2007 to 2015, and now runs a record label to give other up-and-coming artists the same opportunity he got!
