lowkey highkey it drives me insane to see people put down the izu/ocha handhold when handholding is so important in the story. I don't care if you think it's "not romantic" or whatever, that's not the point. the point is that they are connecting with each other again (you know, izuku and the first person his age who befriended him and believed in him) and nothing could make this more clear and more significant than a handhold. once again amatonormativity is a disease. horikoshi can do romance, and yeah, izu/ocha is probably implied, but them crushing on each other isn't the point. Point which you're all missing by making fun of a genuinely sweet action.
