Socs Ball 2016

I came away with the award for Best Journalist, which really made my night and all the stress worth it. SU Blog VI Return of the SU Blog...
A time to change and a time to party!
Time to change pledge:
25th February, 2014), the SU will be launched a ‘Time to Change’ pledge alongside the Support and Advisory department of the College. Time to Change is an initiative set up by several mental health charities that encourages organisations to sign pledges that outline how they’ll tackle the stigma attached to mental health.
VPComCam Jamie Green has written a blog about the pledge which highlights the key points. Check it out at: https://www.su.rhul.ac.uk/blogs/blog/Jamie S Green/2014/02/24/Our-Mental-Health-Pledge/
Time To Change also have some great blogs about the conversations going on around mental health issues at http://www.time-to-change.org.uk/join-the-conversation
Also a quick reminder that for out of hours support you can always contact London Nightline
London Nightline is a confidential listening, support and practical information service for students in London. We are open from 6pm to 8am every night of term.
You can talk to them about anything - big or small - in complete confidence. They won't judge you or tell you how to run your life: they simply listen to whatever is on your mind.
All the volunteers are students themselves, who have undergone extensive training and who understand that university life in London isn't always plain sailing.
For someone to talk to, call them on 0207 631 0101 between 6pm and 8am every night of term or email them now at [email protected] or you can call them on Skype simply click 'Add contact' at the top of the Skype box. Enter the username londonnightline and click 'add selected contact’. Then click the green phone icon to call them - it's as simple as that!
