INSANITY: Day 40 + Cheerios Love <3
My internal alarm clock woke me up around 6:45am this morning so I got ready and started INSANITY around 7am. It is day 40 which meant Max Interval Circuit - an hour of intense sweating, punching, squatting... you know the drill.
I found this new app called Insane Tracker, if you were wondering. Click the photo for the link.
AWESOME side note: When I do these workouts I end up spitting sweat that drools into my mouth throughout the hour - yum. You're welcome.
My board told me to:
Smash the workout
Smash the 5K tomorrow
and to NOT injure myself.
All good pieces of advice, I thought. :)
I burnt a heck of a lot of calories (as always) and was pretty darn happy with it. Take THAT MAX interval.
Oh, and, you gotta love when Jeff makes the blonde girl mad at the end:
Then, after a shower and doing my hair (which takes forever to dry and straighten) we went to the grocery store. I stood in the cereal aisle and drooled over the Cheerios for a moment:
If you did not know already, I have a slight addiction to eating cereal (usually Cheerios and/or Crispix) at night before bed with Silk Unsweetned Almond Milk. I am not ashamed!! :) I usually have the calories left in a day, love the taste, and I am pretty sure it fuels my morning workouts (since I do not eat before).
Then, I pondered the ironicalness of this 'Registered Dietician' sign in the cake/frosting aisle. For the record - I was getting olive oil, not cake. AND this sign did not say 'do not pick up the box of cake'.
My daughter and I are playing and watching cartoons today. I am trying to keep my legs loose (not happening). She is currently napping, thus, my writing to you (and soon to be stretching). :)
My plan is to go to sleep early tonight (I fell asleep around 10/10:30pm last night which was unplanned but fantastic) so I can get up around 4:30am tomorrow to prepare for the Garmin OZ (5K for me) Marathon.
Stay tuned tomorrow to see if I survived the run and my results/photos!
.... and maybe a few people running faster than me but that's not the point!
