did a few inscryption attacks this year as always, so of course they're going on the main blog!

this year i had the pleasure of drawing @thetiredpenguin's gamer au poe rambling at my retyrement poe, @msbfonnie's poe and g0lly stoats, @sammywolfgirl's challenger, and @ozzies-perch's engineer!

thanks to all of you for giving me the opportunity to draw your awesome OCs for artfight, i had a blast :3

Some inscryption ocs. Scrybes of elements and their subordinates. The scrybe characters, themselves, i made a while ago, but sorta didn't wanna post til i made designs for their subordinates, too. None of these subordinates have names, yet, but im workin on it. Might draw them all digitally, later

So. Some random stuff about these guys

- Moe and Bruten are actually the twin children of Niria, who created them from a dying star and a freezing comet, respectively

- The shapeshifter dude is typically talked down to and neglected, but he doesn't yet realize how bad that is, because all he knows is that he wants to take bruten's place, someday, and he thinks he's doing good and starting to get somewhere, even though he's not

- The character stuck in the wall can move, but only in lava. If they try to go somewhere without enough heat, they could get seriously hurt [they found out the hard way]

- The two sewn together are mostly just there because nobody else could deal with their nonstop yelling at each other. They found other people who didn't fit in with everyone else, and just stayed. However, it just ended with more arguing, because now they can't agree on if they should practice more with moe's elements or bruten's elements

- Bruten’s favorite student is actually the one stuck in the wall. the one that’s not even his student. the one that can’t leave their room. the one that he can avoid, no matter what. 

- Moe has tried to be there for the sewn together twins, but they typically push her away. she doesn’t talk to the one in the wall, much, because the one in the wall is scared of her, and the shapeshifter is typically just the one she goes to to joke around with. he’s not the best for more serious conversations, though, so that doesn’t help much

Brain full, I wanted to make some Inscryption OCs, but I’m not creative enough to come up with a full Scrybe concept with their own deck and method of Inscription, so instead I made challengers.

Ethe is a Ghost who’s ambition is to become the Scrybe of Magicks. She spends a lot of time haunting Magnificus’ tower and training under the wizard, with or without his permission. He’s very high energy and loves to read. He challenges Magnificus to fights nearly daily. Magnificus considers her a pest at the best of times.

Angel is a Crow who’s ambition is to become the Scrybe of the Dead. It studies under Grimora very closely, acting as a sort of butler to her at the moment. It doesn’t say much, and takes much interest in fresh corpses. Grimora finds it very charming, though she won’t give up her spot all that easily. She treats it as sort of a grandchild, one she can tease.

B1xB1x is a Robot who’s ambition is to become the Scrybe of Beasts. He spends a lot of time lost in the beast forests, hiding from the current Scrybe. He’s not capable of speech, and loves bugs more than any other beast. Leshy despises him and refuses to hand the land of beasts over to a tiny tin can who can’t even tell his own tale.

Mossamora's subordinates

Violet is the personal guard to The Scrybe of Plants (Mossamora). She's a bit hot headed and brash but very loyal and protective of her Scrybe. Even tho Mossa tells her not to, Violet refers to Mossa as "your benevolence" or " my Scrybe" when addressing her. She will not hesitate to use her sword against anyone who threatens her scrybe.

Lotus is a fisherman that works under Mossamora, they're narcoleptic and quite soft spoken, usually falling asleep at their post. They usually fish off to the side of the Grove, trying their best to do their job even though they fall asleep often. Luckily, they've only fallen in the ocean a couple of times, even then the lily pad like poncho they wear acts as a flotation device keeping their head above the water.

Lily is a farmer who works the land of the Grove, she's a kind soul and probably the friendliest of the three. She speaks in kind of a Southern accent, and likes to bake in her spare time. Usually makes cookies for Mossa if she's feeling down. Bees usually buzz around her as she works.
