25. She bites, it’s a bit destructive since countless pens and erasers have been rendered useless from her chewing and the insides of her mouth are lined with scars from chewing on the inside of her cheek. She finally caved one day and actually bought one of those chewable stim toys, so she doesn’t have to make the inside of her mouth bleed or ruin her possessions.

22. Insecta doesn’t own a car, for many reasons one being that cars don’t accommodate her body type, she’d need a hole in the back of the car seat for her abdomen or if she was to curl her abdomen under herself to sit on it, she’d need either the seat lowered, or steering wheel raised to be able to drive comfortably. But the real reason Insecta doesn’t drive a car is because she never learned how (cause she’s lazy) because she’s always had a bug to ride to her destination or public transportation. But if she did use a bumper sticker on her ‘vehicle’, this is what it would look like:

If she’s leaving the ship for like a normal non-villainy or work-related outing, she usually likes to bring her fanny pack along, it’s her favorite kind of bag since things like backpacks or the straps of purses put too much pressure on her wings and irritates her. Second, she always leaves the boat with some sort of bug, for more reasons other than protection or companionship but like if the boat wasn’t docked, she’d need some way to get back to Gotham, usually by riding on a mantis or dragon fly, or to bring certain bugs back to Gotham that are done being on her boat, she never forces any of her bug friends to stay aboard her ship, so whenever they want to leave Insecta always brings them back to their preferred location.

16. Her favorite flavors in food are probably umami especially with her primarily carnivorous diet (despite her grasshopper-like physique and the fact that she should really be eating more vegetables than she does) the majority of her diet consists of all kinds of meats with a favoring for the canned verities cause she’s lazy, like canned chicken, spam, or tinned fish. The canned fish being her personal favorite cause there’s no need for any prepping other than grabbing a utensil and eating it straight out of the can.

2. Her hair is pretty thin but it’s hard to notice with the fact that she has so much of it, it has the slightest waves normally and when it’s out of her braids and she wears it down it has almost sort of this crimped texture from being in braids 24/7, she also reeeally needs a trim she has so many split ends, but she refuses to go to any barber/salon

3. Insecta is a crazy sensitive person when it comes to choice in fabrics, with other sensory issues not related to just the fabric, but when it comes to specifically the fabric, she absolutely hates wool and many other yarn-based clothes, like if she wears a sweater, she will most of the time be wearing a tank top under because she can’t handle the texture of it on her stomach, she also hates sequins fabric. As for fabrics she enjoys, she loves denim, one of her favorite jackets is a big mens jean jacket that used to belong to her great grandfather, she finds the fabric very comforting, she also loves Sherpa cause unlike some people, she loves the feeling of rubbing her dry ass hands on that fabric.

30. Almost all of the ships lighting sources are overhead lighting, so she usually just uses that, but she also loves natural lighting and there’s many places on the ship that have it like certain lounges on the ship that are out on the top deck or her lab that has a big glass dome for a ceiling.
