Here are some more pictures from my time in Japan! From Tokyo, we caught the shinkansen (bullet train) to Nagano, where we saw Zenkoji Temple and stayed in a shukubo (traditional temple lodging). Early the next morning, we got to observe some of the Buddhist rituals and have a traditional shōjin ryōri breakfast! It was an amazing experience! 💙 . . . . . . #Japan #insidejapan #insidejapantours #Japanese #vacation #japanvacation #mtfuji #zenkoji #zenkojitemple #nagano #yamato #nippon #buddhism (at Nagano, Nagano) https://www.instagram.com/p/Bu3mAl_HrbI/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1l1xqbdrr8tb1

Remembering Mt. Fuji sunrise surprise, 1 week ago. It had been hidden by clouds the day before, but greeted us at 5 a.m. for our last few hours in Japan! I recommend the Prince Hakone Lake Resort for the best sunrise view (reserved on gold-boat.com). #hakone #nature #travelserendipity #mountfuji #insidejapan #reflection #lodging (at The Prince Hakone Lake Ashinoko)
