27.6.19 | I feel like the only chance I get to read is during uni holidays. I'm so exhausted day to day during semester time, what with work and training. I'll get home from lectures and labs, or from a library day, and have no desire to do anything remotely mentally taxing so I've fallen into this habit where I just stick Netflix on to wind down (or chill with my flatmates until 3am talking about garbage). I'm going into 3rd year after the summer and I'm going to have to really double down on working, always gotta make sure not to overwork myself though. So I've decided I'm going to make the most of this summer and try and get through some of my to be read pile (there's no way I can get through all of it).
This book just came out and it skipped right to the top of the pile. This is one of the only crime series I've been able to follow since the start (cause many were started long before I got into the genre) and I absolutely love it!
I'm going to do my best to keep this blog alive over the summer, though God knows I suck at that during the semester too, but hopefully I'll manage to keep that momentum going into the next academic year!
