Most precious Nobuchika, one of the few muns still around since the first season aired. I’ve always liked your portrayal of Nobuchika, and I’m glad to see you still dropping in every once in awhile despite being super busy as a 1st year college student. 

I’m sure you’ll do great no matter what direction you will end up going. Keep at it, sprout >3<

Masaoka winced as he walked past those imposing doors of the Metropolitan Police Department--fashioned just as grand as the rest of the building. He became unfamiliar with sunlight after spending near a solid week hunting down a criminal in the dead of night, which had lead to a violent confrontation and arrest... along with a brief hospital stay.  

He looked awful in the light of this new day; he managed to become a few shades paler, and the black thread which held his lower lip stitched together stood out among bruises. Shaving will prove itself as a difficult chore.... of which he is in need, as he acquired a five o’clock shadow since his family last saw him.

Before his departure, Masaoka learned his motorcycle had been returned to his residence. Someone from the station did him a kindness by calling his wife over to pick him up. He didn’t need to tread far to meet his wife and child; while his boy excitedly pried himself from his mother’s grasp, his wife shot him an icy stare that cut straight through the distance between them. Although he dreaded the impending argument which will take place later, he shown Nobuchika as smile as the boy ran up to greet him. Kneeling down, he caught the child in both arms and hugged him tight, not taking too long to notice he held a few flowers in one hand. 

“Aa, Nobuchika. What’s this?” Masaoka lifted a hand to brush some hair from the youngster’s face, only taking the flowers when offered. “Is this a gift for me, or am I supposed to give this to your mother to keep me from having to sleep in the dog house tonight?”

   Clearly this had been some kind of understanding, right? The analyst stood, essentially cornered towards the very back of her lab, all the while staring the inspector right in the face. Shed be lying if she admitted to being less than a little concerned at having that thing pointed right between her eyes. Her hue had been on one of its spikes, on the higher end of the scale so watching that damn thing unfolding right before her was.. unsettling.

   A small part of her was recalling a conversation they had had briefly in the past, remembering mentioning dominators could be much more useful if used in different ways and the fact society knew they were essentially harmless was counter productive. Yet here she was, at the receiving end and not particularly fond of the situation she was in. Was he making a point? Was he trying to scare her in a manner of proving they were in fact much more terrifying than she had initially been aware of?

   Such things mattered not as she coiled her fingers into the back of her chair, her chin lifting ever so slightly as chestnut hues narrowed dangerously

             "You've made your point."

   hopefully he was doing such

               "I suggest you remove yourself from my lab                 before someone gets hurt."

   Her tone was dangerous as she spoke with venom dripping from her tongue, presuming she too had made her point as he silently lowered his weapon and departed without a single word.

⊰♞♘⊱ “…” Again? She’s already against the pavement, not moving, not even able to move from the first shot taken earlier. He must be checking her coefficient, the other Inspector had shot her when it wasn’t even past it’s normal level. Yes, she knew by now she was only registered as being paralyzed but it didn’t go any higher nor did it seem to faze her much upon seeing that look on his face. Was he irritated? She couldn’t exactly tell, she only had just now come to from her period of unconsciousness but wasn’t daring to move. She’s not foolish, not even stupid enough to dare saying a word just yet. It can wait, he’s dealing with more than enough at the moment with the silverette deciding to turn to vigilantism as a means of furthering her own goal.If her criminal coefficient hadn’t increased then she was surely going to report her actions to him later, as long as Shion had caught that. For now she’s stuck, simply awaiting for orders to come to allow her to be taken to their infirmary knowing she’s not going to be moving temporarily. Almost like with Kougami again, but not at the same time knowing the reasons behind their currently missing Inspector had been impure to the point of deciding to use her dominator as a means of making sure she doesn’t follow them.All from the fact she had caught someone she wasn’t suppose to in that child’s own eyes.Foolish girl, that’s the only thought she held in mind towards this with her own weariness changing to further dislike. She didn’t like her with the way she acted, this only served to further that as a means of suggesting she doesn’t follow through with the offered case. Yes, she knows that this is her only chance but she would rather not work with someone that had gone as far as to use personal gain as a reason to shoot an enforcer over something as petty as finding someone they knew.It’ll be back to square one from here again.

☎ my muse drunk dials your muse

How in the world was this even happening..? She had unfortunately decided to stay back for a few extra hours considering she was so close, at least, she was sure of it! Any minute that little blip would go off and show her exactly what she wanted to know! Only instead her COMM decided to beep violently as her brows furrowed in confusion at the situation-- why the hell would Ginoza of all people call her at almost midnight...? 

Of course, she would answer, though the next train of events definitely weren't a set she could make much sense of.. if any. That slurred voice accompanied with a rather loud shuffling gave her a slight idea of what was going on though for her to even insinuate such a thing would definitely get her into trouble.

"Gin--"

"shhhhhhh." 

he shooshed her... the only person who was always so calm and collected was shooshing her and.. flailing by the sounds of those jingling keys and his grunts as he attempted to get back into his home. Was she supposed to just.. sit? Perhaps say nothing in case he tripped and fell through a wall or such?

         "run reports f' specimen case!" 

and.. that was it. The only words she could legibly understand before the tone was cut was to study the specimen case. A case.. three years old at this point.. Perhaps she would leave that one for another day, her time and energy was used up- she could finish this l a t e r.

He doesn’t know why he did it exactly; perhaps in a way to thank the school girl? It’s been so lonely around the office lately and perhaps it’s starting to get to the inspector. “You like flowers, right? I thought you’d like it.”

"Well yeah I do." She was a lady after all. If she could, she would have the boys bring her flowers all the time. "I mean it's not like I don't like them. They are very pretty and thank you! But I'm just curious as to why you decided to put it in my hair." She needed answers. Well maybe not needed them but it would be nice to understand why.

Tell her a story? ….. “Hm.” He doubts any work-related stories would be appropriate. “I could tell you stories about Dime; my pet husky.”

She perked up noticeably at the sound of that. "You have a husky?!" Now she was hooked. "Yes yes! Tell me! Is Dime a puppy or a big dog?" Is he fluffy? Could Riko see him and play around with him? These were all things she wanted to know.
