Go go gadget tent - technology meets the great out-doors!
Camping is a pretty popular choice when it comes to holidaying in Britain-land. The choice of tents is simply incredible nowadays with four berth, six berth, dividing rooms, integrated ground sheet, how about solar panels and wi-fi enabled? WHAT?? To begin with it should be made clear that this tent is just a concept at present but who knows where that concept might lead? It is going to take "glamping" to a new level!
Incidently, the Urban dictionary says this about clamping: "camping - The Act of staying in one spot in a map in a first person shooter video game to gain a tactical advantage over an enemy or group of enemies." And I thought it was simply a way to holiday while having the freedom to roam around the countryside, cook on barbecues mounted on bricks and complete a record breaking amount of crosswords while drinking the fermented beverages brewed from the fruits f this land?!
Picture the scene. You are at a camp site, maybe even at a music festival, you return to the area where you know your tent is based but due to the sheer volume of revelers you cannot locate the exact position of your sleeping accommodation. Cue the "glo-tec" function. You, the camper sends a text to the tent which then omits a glowing light enabling you to be able to navigate directly to your slumber! In the morning you decide to check online which acts are performing at the festival but don't want to use up any mobile data. Simple, you turn on the WiFi hub and surf to your hearts content! How about a bit of central heating for those cold evenings? No problem for the solar power tent. The ground sheet has an inbuilt heating element that kicks in once the temperature drops below a certain level meaning you will never wake up in need of an extra cover (unless you go camping in extreme conditions of course!).
