Get Well Camellia~ In our old house, we had a camellia bush in front. I have had a soft spot for them ever since then. I love how pretty, and hardy they are. Floral birdcage~ So, I was going to go in a completely different way with this card, but I just couldn't make it work. I know I say that a lot, it's true a lot. I have a stamp that I wanted to use, but it just didn't 'work' so I was looking around at what I have and saw this birdcage and it seemed rather perfect. Skating penguin~ Wow, did this card take a lot of work! I am not sure that I am all that happy with it, but there was definitely a point of no return when I realized how many hours had been spent already. Comforting dahlia~ As soon as I saw the inspiration board I knew exactly which stamp to use! Again it is one of my favorites! A flurry of cards! One card led to the idea for another card then an inspiration picture reminded me of a past card which all lead to a day of making a flurry of cards, well in actuality I made six cards, but it still took all day and that is how it all started. I pulled out some of my scraps of baby paper to start making these cards and while I was doing that realized that I also had some really wonderful wedding paper that I could also utilize. It was a wonderful way to hide out from the horrible heat yesterday, and today it took me so long to get this up because I honestly would rather play hookey and go swimming with my nephew, but it's summer and that is just the way it is.
