Parent. Out of the box. Start asking your children more powerful questions to help understand their world so you can become part of it and get connected with them again. Turn it around on them. When they are angry. Put the heat on you. Yes. It will blow their mind. Ask them where you are feeling them as a parent and just give them the space to answer this question they never heard before. You can love them or control them but you can’t do both. The unexpected gets results. Are you a punisher? We’re you parents punishers? When you were punished how did that make you feel? Angry, unworthy, small, powerless? How do you think your kids feel when you punish them? Maybe the same? Punishment results in everyone being angry and frustrated including us as parents. Aren’t you sick of doing the same thing over and over? When children are punished they think sometimes have revenge fantasies. How can I get back at them for taking my phone away from me. It never ends well. What about if you tried something different? How about next time they break a rule or exhibit poor behavior you ask them to help you discover a solution to the problem. Because that’s all it is. A problem that needs a solution. Give a try...it couldn’t hurt and more than the punishment. Tosin kudos o. I can boldly say I score 33 out of this 36👌But I started the journey of self investment in 2002, when I started the self discovery journey. . I buy self help and spiritual books even when is not convenient. I don't miss late Pastor Bimbo Odukoya's messages. . I worked free for one year, just to learn . I invested in training that I need to be skilled for the journey ahead. . I attended seminars and workshops, both free and paid. . Please stop spending on stuffs that add nothing to your purpose. . I can't count the number of relapse, but I never stopped learning and growing. . Growth is a process, don't beat yourself, one day at a time, one step at a time. . And above all, stop castigating others. It took you several years to know many stuffs on this list. .
