@Regrann from @camerasncupcakes - Good morning lovelies! It's Monday and we all know what it is....#AskMahaMonday ✨ . . Each Monday I will select one of your pressing Food Photography questions and answer it; today's question was a super popular one: How can I make my photos bright & light?! ➡️and welcome the repost ➡️follow @cucinaconmimmo ➡️tag #cucinaconmimmo There are many ways to achieve that, but here are few simple steps: 1️⃣ Shoot near a window/on your porch/balcony...etc, there must be light but not direct sunlight (this would create strong shadows & highlights that we don't want) 2️⃣ Whether your phone or Laptop, your photo will need bit of editing, I do mine with a mix of both, but most of it is done with my phone using the default photo app (shocking I know!!) First I start with "Shadows", by removing some of the shadows, the photo will get naturally brighter, however, this might cause it to look bit faded, that's why I do the next step 3️⃣ Now tweak the brightness/contrast, don't go too far with it otherwise you'll start to lose details. Increase brightness & decrease contrast just a tad! (Some photos will need more work than others, depending on quality of light you shot with but I do everything in moderation as I don't like my photos to look over processed) . . And voila! You should see a difference in your picture, (swipe to see my before photo and notice the difference ☺️) Please try it and let me know! .
