@staff I'm still waiting on the damn instant queue
My Netflix Queue is about 75% period dramas, 15% scifi, 9% crime shows, and 1% old shows I watched as a kid.
When did this happen? I feel like it wasn’t that long ago that everything was scifi and horror...how did all these period dramas get here? Why am I so okay with them being there? Which one do I watch?!
DOES ANYONE have an instant queue option besides missing e or xkit? neither are working for me and this is the only advantage of tumbling on the computer instead of mobile!

Favorite Netflix Instant Queue Films of November 2013
I've seen some good movies the past few weeks on Netflix Instant Queue. I'd be happy to tell you about a few. Frances Ha- Had no idea the entire way through it was directed by Noah Baumbach, just one of those that I missed in the theater this summer but wanted to see. Fantastic film. Very poignant and really enjoyed the cinematography, musical selection, and acting. Most people who have lived some portion of their early 20s in NYC could surely relate and have the film resonate with them. Great shot location also (loved seeing Poughkeepsie in the summer in black & white). Autobiography of Nicholas Ceausescu- I want to like this film so much. But it's very hard, coming in at 3 1/2 + hours with only media clips from his years in power. The film starts with his rise to power, and presumably ends by showing the discontent that plagues so many of his countrymen throughout the early and mid 80s, though i have not made it there yet since the first part is tough to get through. Yet it's fascinating to see the diplomacy he preached with all communist and socialist countries of the time. Arbitrage- Big fan of the acting, Tim Roth nailed it, and thought the overall flow of the film was great. Some answers to questions got a little iffy, but overall this film painted a great picture of the stress some of the financial world's most powerful might very well go through. At least the acted out scenes between characters. Fun seeing New York from that point of view also, especially if you're not enmeshed in it daily. Nice wardrobe choices all around also. We Steal Secrets: The Story of Wikileaks- Big fan of this one. Learned so much about Bradley Manning that I wish I knew before and really made me have a connection with the guy. Felt like I finally knew him, away from the press and articles about what he did. I also loved the probing examination into the psyche of Julian. That was fascinating also- great documentary footage of him before he became, JULIAN! It all seemed to make sense after watching this film. Wild Bill- I might have shed a tear. Great father/son film that is shot in a bleak yet under documented part of outside London. Father trying to do well by his family and have a new start, but can he make it happen, sort of deal. See this film if you enjoy emotion or think families coming together is cute. Big fan of the dialogue, the nature of the relationships portrayed, and all else. Boy- Beautiful film to watch, shot in New Zealand. Very cute the whole way through. Coming of age tale. Also father/son but more so focused on a child trying to find direction and by proxy, the role model to follow for the right path toward a future. Great plot twists and fun story to follow. The Gambler- Couldn't turn this off. This movie made my buy back into online poker. Loved the acting and the intensity with which gambling took over James Caan's soul. The acting was nice and the locations chosen for the shoot were superb! 1970s NYC never looked so cool. See this one if you have ever sports bet and wondered how deep it can go. Woody Allen Doc 1 & 2- Felt like after I had seen these, I needed to start writing immediately. One of the most inspiring things I have seen all year. Still blown away by the commitment and passion of this guy to keep writing and keep creating. He's been doing it since he was 15 years old and hasn't looked back once. What a life he has had. I also love his attitude of get it done and move on, what's next!? 30 for 30s Marinovich Project- Unreal. I loved this story from start to end. One of the most surreal and fantastic tales I have ever heard (for the first time) related to sports. Couldn't enjoy this more than I did. Great acting- even though its a doc! The story just seemed to real to be true and it was excellent following Robo QB from 13 to 33! Hoop Dreams on Ecstasty! Unguarded- Good film. Kind of what I thought it would be, but then it took a turn and I was like, "Wow! He is spending 60k in cash per month on perscription drugs!?" I did not know it can be this bad, but the main basketball player, Chris Herron, took us all on a journey to show how deep addition to drugs (opiates mostly) could get. Some potentially caused by nature, some from nurture. Great tale yet sobering. Tim Richmond: To the Limit- Never knew about this guy. He seemed like a showman. He seemed intelligent. He seemed like he knew it all. Everything I find intriguing. And then he contracted a disease and was too nervous to share to the world what was wrong. Really interesting story set in a time period that was so taboo for an athlete to tell the world about what was happening. Wow! I can't even keep going. It has been a long day. But I'm doing my volunteer work for the week. The Chaser- You have to see this movie. Action packed thriller from Korea. Mind bending and harrowing. Don't miss this one. I Saw the Devil- One of the best and freakiest movies I have seen all year. Loved this and if you are ready for bold intensity, you've got to sit back and watch this one. Will shock you and bring you to thinking about death in a new way. See it. Dragon- Enjoyed the fighting in this a whole lot and scene shot selection. A very good detective story set in the small villages of south China. Beautifully done. The Yellow Sea- Great film, mysterious, brooding, spooky. Shot in Korea. Great film. OK, That's it, I am done. If you need a movie, please choose one from this list so I can feel the time I spent was validated! Enjoy and let me know if you found anything good and why.
