yesterday i saw this video by Lisa Nguyen about a ramen hack that had been going around online (not created by her but that was the video i saw) Basically you combine an egg, kewpie mayo, garlic, and the seasoning and vegetable packet from a ramen into a bowl and mix. Then you cook the ramen and slowly pour the hot water into the egg and seasoning mixture. I used the same shin ramyun Lisa used in her video, pictured below:
I really liked the broth this recipe made, although if i did it again i think i would use a different ramen. This one was a little to spicy in the wrong way for me and it had mushrooms in it, which i don’t eat, so that was a little annoying. When i made it I added some sliced steak and sesame seeds, along with green onions like in the video. Here’s the picture of the final product:
Honestly not the best looking bowl i’ve made, but it was still pretty good. I might do this again with a different ramen, but overall i would recommend trying this
