Ever have a story that absolutely refuses to leave your head so you continue to write thing after thing hoping that it’ll fade? But then it just seems to take on a life of its own?

This is a timeline of what happens between the Ending of Yu-Gi-Oh and my fic The Darkness that Binds us. It’s probably gonna be fleshed out and refined into an actual story of its own. (or two. Or three)

End of the Series: Atem leaves. Life returns to normal

----Does what he can to keep himself overly busy

-Anzu invites everyone to New York

-----Kisara meets Yugi and the gang (excluding Kaiba)

-The gang returns to Domino

-----Jou convinces Kaiba to go to NY by way of a bet

-The group returns with Kaiba (reluctantly) in tow

-----Kaiba meets Kisara; Jou wins the bet

-??? (Diva still struggles with his bouts of rage. Nearly confronts Ryo multiple times)

-Kaiba and Kisara bond

-Kaiba learns (via Mokuba research?) Kisara’s aunt is a weapons dealer who was a big investor in old Kaiba Corp.

-----Kaiba is not pleased

-Kaiba nearly kills several people in Kisara’s aunt’s “family”

-----settles for crippling the company instead

-----Aunt pulls funds for Kisara’s college

-----Kaiba funds her instead under the condition she work for Kaiba Corp when she graduates
