I was captivated by things I found here in 2010. Del Pasco is located high in the Bradshaw Mountains & was discovered on July 4, 1870. It was one of the riches gold mines in the world @ it's time. You will also find an abandoned 1956 School Bus, with 60's style wallflowers painted across the outside. It was talked about that this place might have been home to a hippie commune back in the 60's. There is also an old truck & mining equipment still there. 1 of the most complete wooden miners shack use to be found here with hay mattresses, iron tub & full kitchen. Sadly in 2012, the Gladiator Fire destroyed most of what was left. This bus, truck, & mining equipment is the only thing left now.
